Of course, paying someone to do a job for you is great and often makes good sense, being able to motivate YOURSELF is an invaluable ‘tool’ to have, especially when it comes to designing, and sometimes living, your DREAM life! Since it’s virtually impossible to have a motivational coach with you 24 hours a day, I’m dure you can it makes perfect sense to become self sufficient in using effective self help motivational techniques. Make sense, right?

Being able to motivate yourself is an incredibly hard thing to attempt, but yet it is so important for accomplishing anything meaningful in life. By putting into practice the simple techniques within this article, I will make it that bit more simple for you. OKAY…

ARE YOU PLANNING TO GET MOTIVATED?

I’m sure heard the phrase, “Be careful what you wish for”, my version of this is, “be careful what you PLAN for”. Why?…

Well obviously, planning becoming the next bonnie and Clyde is probably not be the greatest idea in the world, I’m sure you can appreciate that. But what I really mean, is the need to first have an understanding of the bigger picture…

Your life’s bigger picture…

If the bigger plan is in place, then you begin to create momentum that eventually becomes UNSTOPPABLE. Momentum like this might mean that you won’t need my other self help motivation techniques.

To understand what the bigger picture is, you’ll need a sensible theory about your life’s purpose. My belief about life’s purpose, is that we are supposed to lead a happy life, there’s more to my theory than that but I’ll only focus on happiness for the purpose of this article. Any plan you put together, obviously should be with a view to achieving this. With that in mind, any plan that you set out to follow ideally will have a desired outcome that will help you achieve the ‘bigger picture’, i.e. (happiness)…

Fair enough, right?

You may be wondering why I’m going on about this when this article is supposed to cover self help motivation techniques. Stick with the program, in a minute the reason for this will become much clearer…

Basically, any good, ‘proper’ and well thought out plan, will give you CLARITY. Motivation and clarity go hand-in-hand, without it, our brain will shut down in a heartbeat. Naturally, this will result in a LACK of motivation. The point is, in the first place, you really want to have a good plan to follow that makes the way forward clear, that, on it’s own, motivates you.

BAD IS GOOD…




I always tell people NEVER to be afraid of failure. Why? It’s because more often than not, the JOURNEY is much more rewarding than the actual destination. If you’re similar to the people I teach this to, you’ll be thinking this is easier said then done…

Actually it’s NOT… It basically comes down to your FOUNDATIONAL VALUES.

I can think back to many failures throughout my life that has taught me SO much invaluable information money just CAN’T buy. Want prove? This article is proof because the reason I’m able to write this article is because I’ve learnt from my failures! 😉

Recognise that success is NOT the greatest teacher in the world – DON’T FORGET THIS. When you begin to understand this, you will NEVER be scared of failing in the future. And since we’re on the subject, look back on your previous failures and ask yourself – is there something I could have learnt from the JOURNEY.

Success is not what you achieve, it’s what you OVERCOME. Your biggest failures can be your biggest successes, hence the reason why I say, “Bad is GOOD, if you allow it to be!”

You’re probably thinking this has nothing to do with self help motivation techniques. Well let me tell you, it has EVERYTHING to do with it. FEAR can be crippling. Fear can greatly hinder motivation, that’s why it’s fundamentally VERY relevant to self help motivation techniques. If you can learn to successfully overcome fear, you’ll have a massive weight lifted of your shoulders, while, at the same time, find it much easier becoming motivated….

Good emotional intelligence will undoubtedly assist you to more successfully handle your fears, then you can actually use your fears, along with the the ‘encrypted clues’ it is giving you, in conjunction with my self help motivation techniques.
