It takes an above average level of work ethic just to make it to the pros in anything. Even if you just ride the bench in a professional league, you still had to work your butt off to do even that. To make it to the elite levels, however, is something else entirely. One thing I appreciate about Kobe’s outlook and guys like him is that there is no “feel-goodery” in their description on what it takes to be successful.
