Eric Thomas is an American motivational speaker, born in Detroit. While still in high school he was kicked out of home by his mother. He dropped out and lived homeless on the streets for two years, “eating out of trash cans”.
It was during his time of homelessness, that he met a preacher whom convinced him to go back to school and finish his education, even though no one in his family had ever attended higher education. It took Eric Thomas 12 years to finish his 4 year degree. But he never gave up.
Now he is one of the most recognizable motivational speakers on the planet. He is paid millions to motivate some of the biggest companies, and sporting teams on the planet.
