Your story was inspiring! Thank you for sharing with the world. My name is Karly Bailey and I have a similar story that I want to share in hopes that I can inspire kids who go through some of the things that I did. When I was seven years old, I was diagnosed with a very dangerous brain tumor and embarked on the fight of my life. I went through numerous surgeries, needle pokes, shunt revisions and taps, only to be paralyzed when I was nine years old after surgery went wrong. All of these years later, I have finally come to realize the value of my experiences and the value that I could bring to others by sharing those experiences. My mother, God rest her soul, always said that I have “one hell of a story” and encouraged me to share it so I’d like to know if you have any connections that you think could benefit from my crazy story.
