I first saw the light on motivation as potentially being a failed platform for success and leadership by listening to the Jocko Podcast, by retired Navy Seal Jocko Willink.

I know I have had many moments in my life where I just could not get the energy going or muster up the motivation to attack the day, but relying now on discipline instead I just get to work, no matter my mood. The funny thing is, getting down to the actual work itself usual brightens up my mood and energy anyway.

Many of the same themes in this post here that I learned from Jocko. Great stuff guys. Thanks for sharing.
