<p>One of the greatest upsets in sporting history happened just recently. The Leicester City football team won the Premier League title by several points, making the headlines of every mainstream media in the world. This team was a candidate for relegation from the league, being one of the three bottom feeders of the list. An interesting fact: Bookmakers made Leicester 5,000 – 1 odds for becoming a 2016 Premier League champions.</p>
<p>Still, the team believed in themselves, and worked hard, one goal at the time. The patient system brought them the possibility to contend for the league title, and the last game of the season that could affect the first position of the team was the game between Tottenham and Chelsea, which ended tied. That’s when the Leicester squad realized they are this year’s Premier League champions.</p>
<h2>2. Buster Douglas knocks out Mike Tyson</h2>

<p>During the 90s, Mike Tyson was a beast. One of the most feared boxers to enter the ring, he stormed the world of professional boxing, taking the heavyweight title and defending it several times. Facing this man was Buster Douglas, a guy nobody expected to win. Even Tyson himself haven’t prepared for the fight since he quickly knocked out every opponent who beat Douglas. The fight was fierce, brutal, and very even, until the round 8, where one-eyed (Douglas closed the other one with his punches) Tyson throw his trademark uppercut and sent Douglas to the ground.</p>
<p>But the <a href="http://www.fearlessmotivation.com/2015/03/31/never-give-up-success-comes-to-those-who-persist/" target="_blank">winner’s determination</a> in Douglas prevailed. He refused to lose. Refused to stay down.</p>
<p>And two rounds later, gassed out Tyson was barely standing, a perfect opportunity for Douglas. Several punches hit the target, and Tyson was knocked out.</p>
<h2>3. Greece wins Euro 2004</h2>

Portugal was a big favorite for a gold medal, but it turned out that Greek defense was too tight to penetrate. A rising star forward, Cristiano Ronaldo felt that the most. Greeks managed to score in the 57<sup>th</sup> minute after a corner (their first at the game), and then they strategically pulled back, tightening the defense tremendously. That strategy played out for Greeks, and they won the Euro 2004, surprising the whole world.</p>
<h2>4. Steven Bradbury wins gold at 2002 Winter Olympics</h2>

<p>One of the biggest upsets in sporting history happened 2002 Winter Olympics. The short tack speed skating competition was fierce and intense; all competitors were aiming for victory, with the hunger for victory in their eyes. Every skater except Steven Brad (Australia) have lead the race at one point, and changes at the leading place were many.</p>
<p>The last lap came most intensive; Apollo Ohno (USA) and Lia Jiajun (China), the leading contenders for the gold medal collided, with Chinese skater falling and bringing down the three skaters around him. Steven Brad was several feet behind, safe from the collision, and he had an uncontested finish; he just passed by his opponents effortlessly, winning the gold for Australia.</p>
<h2>5. 2004 NBA Finals – Detroit Pistons defeat La Lakers</h2>

<p>During the 2004 season, Lakers were unstoppable. Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant played like a well-organized team, there were no injuries to stop them, and they acquired Gary Payton and Karl Malone, two future Hall of Famers, to ensure the championship trophy. They were facing Detroit Pistons, the definite underdog in the matchup. Young Pistons squad had Chauncey Billups at the guard, Richard Hamilton, Tayshaun Prince at the forward, Rasheed Wallace at power forward/center, and defensive beast Ben Wallace at center.</p>
<p>Pistons won 4 – 1, bringing the star-struck Lakers to their knees in the series (all wins by double digits). The connection between Bryant and O’Neal was bad, and on the other hand, the offense of Pistons was flawless. The rest is history.</p>
<h2>6. Superbowl XLI (2007) – New York Giants beat New England Patriots</h2>

<p>The Patriots had the perfect season, and the Superbowl was the only thing left for them to make it a perfect run. They needed one more win, and the New York Giants were their counterparts in this game. On the biggest stage in the world, Patriots were leading the game until the incredible quarter happened – David Tyree, a wide receiver from Giants, caught an almost impossible pass. He did it while being tackled, falling to the ground, pressing the ball against his helmet, with 34 seconds left on the clock.</p>
<p>The pass was complete, and the Giants gained a three-point advantage (17 – 14) which turned out to be the final result. 12-1 odds were beaten down, and the Giants took away the Vince Lombardy trophy.</p>
<h2>7. Champions League Final, 2012 – Chelsea beats Bayern Munich</h2>

<p>Bayern was unstoppable during the season, and they’ve hosted the Champions League final match in their city. The stadium was packed, and guess who had more fans. The European football fans are thunderous – the atmosphere was crazy.</p>
<p>Bayern was leading throughout the whole game, until the last five incredibly dramatic 5 minutes of the match. First, Didier Drogba scored for a tie; next, Chelsea defender brought the Bayern attacker in the penalty area, within the stoppage time. The dramatic penalty kick didn’t end inside the goal net because goalkeeper Peter Cech saved the shot with masterful skill and agility. After the extended time, penalties decided the winner, and Chelsea players showcased calm nerves, concentration, and executed perfectly.</p>

<p>Out of a million different fitness trends of the 21<sup>st</sup> century, Crossfit has stood the test of time. After more than ten years it is consistently gaining popularity and has no signs of stopping. Everyone has heard of it, but what is Crossfit exactly?</p>
<p>The official definition is <a href="https://www.crossfit.com/what-is-crossfit" target="_blank">“<em>constantly varied, functional movements performed at high intensity</em>”</a>. In more simple words, this training method combines gymnastics, Olympic weightlifting, and athletics, among other disciplines, to make you a well-rounded, fit and functional human being. Basically, the idea of Crossfit is not to specialize in one type of activity, but to <a href="http://www.fearlessmotivation.com/2016/03/11/everyday-workout-routine-stay-motivated/">improve the body</a> in such a way that it would be prepared for all kinds of physical feats.</p>
<p>People seem to like this approach to training, as Crossfit gyms or “boxes” started to spread like fire all over the globe. The sport’s popularity increased rapidly with global coverage of the Crossfit Games. Right now, there are several thousand facilities in the world, offering quality socializing time and a <strong>hell of a workout.</strong></p>
<p>If you’re a person who doesn’t have the time, doesn’t wish to join a Crossfit box or someone who simply prefers working out alone, we have good news for you. <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Crossfit workouts at home are a real thing</span>. With little to no equipment, you can have a <a href="http://www.fearlessmotivation.com/2016/04/05/home-workout/">killer workout without leaving your home</a>. You can measure your results with thousands of others online, and be a part of the community without going to the gym. How simple, and amazing is that!</p>

<h2>Here is a list of exercises that you can do in your Crossfit workouts at home with minimal equipment:</h2>

<p>To begin, you need to get familiar with some Crossfit terminology.</p>
<h3><em><strong>WOD</strong></em> – Workout Of the Day. <h3><em><strong>AMRAP</strong></em> – As Many Rounds As Possible. Perform as many rounds of a set of exercises within a specified period.</h3>
<h3><em><strong>EMOM</strong></em>&#8211; Every Minute On the Minute. At the beginning of each minute, you will perform a set of given exercises, and rest for the remaining time until the next minute starts.</h3>
<p>Next, here is a list of WOD’s which consist only of bodyweight exercises:</p>

<p>Do the complete workout in under 30 minutes. Complete all the repetitions of the single workout before passing to the next one.</p>

This forty-one-year-old British Rambo has completed numerous incredible feats during his life, showing everyone the true strength of will power.</p>
<p>Born in 1974 as Edward Michael Grylls, this man somehow managed to fit the adrenaline’s worth of ten lives in his one and only. The nickname Bear was given to him by his sister Lara when he was just a week old. Bear Grylls’ life accomplishments could fit in an entire bookstore, let alone inside one article.</p>
<p>The reason behind such an exciting life lies behind his extraordinary childhood and his unquenchable desire for adventure and exploration.  Since the age of five, he has loved the outdoors and frequently took sailing and hiking trips with his father. This love will prove to be the driving force in Bear’s life.</p>
<p>After graduating from the University of West England, Bear took on the Army as his next challenge. He was a member of the Territorial Army and he even served in the 21 SAS Regiment. His army training prepared him for any future obstacles as well as giving him the necessary mental composure to tackle any problem.</p>
<p>His astonishing story makes the headlines for the first time in 1998 when he became the youngest Brit ever to climb the Mont Everest at the age of 23. Furthermore, he climbed the roof of the world only 18 months after his parachuting accident in which he broke three vertebrae.</p>
<p>Bear achieved world fame with the TV series “Man vs. Wild” which aired for seven years. Using his overwhelming survival experience and skill, along with his love for nature Bear traveled the world showing the viewers how to cope with the challenges in the wilderness.</p>
<p>He went on to have quite an impressive TV career as he has done several other shows mostly about tactical survival in the unforgiving nature. In 2014, he even did a show with famous people called &#8220;Running Wild with Bear Grylls.” His latest project, “Bear Grylls&#8217; Survival School” started airing in the January of 2016.</p>
<p>The part of Bear’s that he is the proudest of is definitely his charity work. He has attempted and finished several demanding projects in order to raise funds for numerous charity organizations. <p>As simple as that might sound, it is the absolute truth. We all move, it’s just how nature intended it to be, some of us are just better or worse at it. Our modern lifestyle has depleted us of the need to move very much. A couple of centuries ago, getting basic things such as food or water, required some serious physical work. Today, convenience has become our God, but also one of our greatest enemies. We overuse chairs; we drive instead of walking, and the neglecting of our physicality is the main culprit of many of today’s health problems. The importance of movement has been diminished.</p>
<p><strong>Ido Portal</strong> is a man who declares himself as a <strong><em>movement teacher</em></strong>. Born and raised in Haifa, Israel, Ido grew up in a very physical lifestyle. At the age of 15, he discovered the Afro-Brazillian martial art Capoeira, and it was love at first sight. He then dedicated more than a decade to this practice, travelling all over the world and learning from the best Capoeiristas.</p>
<p>As time went by, Ido’s perspectives got wider, and the rules and limitations of Capoeira became too uncomfortable for him. He realized that he was passionate about human movement in general, not just a particular discipline. So, once again he ventured out to find the best movement teachers in the world. <p>Today, Ido is a world famous teacher. More and more people are gradually drawn to his philosophy and approach to training. <p>To fully reach a state of ketosis you will have to be on a ketogenic diet for <u>approximately three weeks</u>. It is not that easy to reach this state because there are some &#8220;traps&#8221; that you can get into; you must be aware of them and strong enough to overcome them. In that time, you will be fatigued; you’ll feel an energy drop, even a brain fog due to restricting of carbs. It is entirely possible that you will often be dehydrated because of the depletion of glycogen storage in your body and water loss by diuresis.</p>
<p>You don&#8217;t have to worry about this because when you get into the ketosis state, you will feel more energized than ever before. It is also crucial to drink plenty of water to replenish the lost. Because of the dehydration and the fact that your carbohydrate intake is minimal it would be best if you add <u>sufficient amount of salt</u> to your diet as well as a decent amount of multivitamin/multimineral complex. Sometimes, fiber supplements are also needed because there is not enough fiber in the food that you have to eat and people get constipated very often.</p>
<p>Now that we cleared everything that could go wrong let&#8217;s talk about what to eat and what not to eat on a ketogenic meal plan.</p>

<p><strong>Low-fat diet products: </strong>these foods are usually high in carbohydrates</p>
<p><strong>All foods that contain sugars</strong></p>
<h2>Ketogenic diet for fat loss plan</h2>
<p>Here is a typical daily plan for a person on a ketogenic diet. Of course, you can mix, add or remove the way you see fit as long as it follows guidelines written above.</p>
<p><strong>Breakfast:</strong> bacon and eggs omelette with a vegetable on the side (pepper for instance)</p>
<p><strong>Lunch:</strong> chicken salad with olive oil and avocado</p>
<p><strong>Dinner:</strong> salmon with spinach cooked in butter</p>
<p>These are just some guidelines for you to understand the ketogenic diet. Keep in mind that the amount of food and meals are up to you based on your weight, age and whether or not you are still hungry. Jay Cutler is an American professional bodybuilder who did that, becoming a legend in the fitness industry. On one of the most influential competitions in the world, The Arnold Classic, Jay Cutler was crowned for three consecutive years &#8211; 2002, 2003, and 2004. Keep in mind that these are just some of the competitions that he had won over the years. He is one of the most recognizable faces (and bodies) of the sport of bodybuilding and serve as an influence to many.</p>
<p>He started working in his family&#8217;s concrete business at the age of 11 and wasn&#8217;t that active in sports until he came to high school. Besides making a good amount of money in the family business, he had learned the importance of the work ethic in the early age and attributed that to his success. He excelled at football in high school because of his size and speed but realized soon that football is not his sport. He had a passion for lifting weights and loved seeing how his body responded to weight training.</p>
<p>At the age of eighteen, Jay Cutler entered the Gold&#8217;s Gym in Worcester, Maryland, and decided then and there to become the best bodybuilder in the world. After several competitions, he entered teen nationals in 1993 and won his weight division. 1993 was also the year that Jay graduated with criminal justice degree, but he knew deep inside that <a href="http://www.fearlessmotivation.com/2015/07/10/focus-gym-bodybuilding-motivation/" target="_blank">bodybuilding is his passion</a>, and pursued that career instead. <p>Is it the ability to lift and move heavy objects? Usually, this is the first thing that comes to mind when the word “strength” is mentioned. But, is this all? Is this the true definition of this word?</p>
<p>Elliott Hulse would disagree.</p>
<p>This is a man who changed people’s views of <a href="http://www.fearlessmotivation.com/2016/01/12/5-ways-to-motivate-yourself-to-become-stronger/" target="_blank">what it means to be truly strong</a>, via his YouTube channel <a href="https://www.google.rs/url?sa=t&amp;rct=j&amp;q=&amp;esrc=s&amp;source=video&amp;cd=2&amp;cad=rja&amp;uact=8&amp;ved=0ahUKEwj24cnw7oPMAhUFQpoKHYo4AzMQFgghMAE&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fuser%2Fstrengthcamp&amp;usg=AFQjCNG1iDbXFE8mybFD4AxD1QrNi8onIQ&amp;sig2=ndPhpXZQuUobn6nYAWFqIQ" target="_blank">Strengthcamp</a>. He has also been an inspiration to millions, giving advice and answering questions about fitness and life in general. His mission is to help you become, what he calls “<strong><em>the strongest version of yourself</em></strong>.”</p>
<p>Elliott was born in the United States, in a poor family of Belizean immigrants. He started working out as a kid, coached by his uncle, and thanks to this athletic upbringing, Elliott earned a scholarship to a Division One Football program. There he majored in Exercise Science. After he got his degree, he started his business as a personal trainer and also began competing in the sport of Strongman. Hulse was quickly becoming one of the best in his weight category, and everything seemed well, up until he had torn his bicep.</p>
<p>This injury forced him to take some time off from working out, and also made him reconsider his life, and approach to fitness and strength. It was during this period that he developed his, now famous, <strong><em>Four Layers of Strength</em></strong> philosophy.</p>
<p>The first layer is a <strong>neuromuscular strength</strong>, or in simple words, the strength your body gets from lifting heavy things. The “common” people’s comprehension of strength.</p>
<p>The second layer is a <strong>physiological strength</strong>. This means eating healthy, taking care of your hormonal health and your organs. This layer is the base for neuromuscular strength.</p>
<p>The third layer is, what Elliott calls – <strong>energetic strength</strong>. This represents the way we choose to approach life and respond to events, or basically, the way we think about situations.</p>
<p>The fourth and final layer is, using all of the previously mentioned, to inspire others. A positive application of your overall strength, to the world and people who surround you.</p>
<p>This is the approach that Elliott uses with his clients, and as you can see, it is way beyond today’s conventional fitness mentality. Today he resides in St. Petersburg, Florida, with his wife and four children. He runs a gym and offers various services, all in favor of making YOU a better, stronger and happier human being. This man is a true inspiration and role model for anyone who aspires to live a fulfilled life.</p>

Home workout is what most people opt for and not without a good reason. Gym memberships are often expensive and time-consuming,  going outside depends too much on the weather. Don&#8217;t worry. You can have a full workout in the comfort of your home.</p>
<p>The first thing I have to tell you about the home workout, especially without any equipment, is that it is only a basic form of exercising. That doesn’t mean that you won’t get results, only that home workout is not suitable for professional athletes. Think of it as a great way to stay fit and upgrade not only your body but also your quality of life.</p>
<p>Having a body like this is possible <a href="https://www.trainwithkickoff.com/blog/how-to-build-muscle-at-home-without-equipment-for-beginners" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><span style="color: #3366ff;">working out in your home</span></a>.</p>
<p>Considering that most people that search for home workouts have only an hour at the most for exercising per day, the training program has to be concise and on the point. I have prepared six all-around exercises for you to do in your home, but before you start reading the list, there are some bases we need to cover.</p>
<p>First of all, take at least 10 minutes for a warm-up before you go ahead with any working out. Secondly, I have perceived this regime to be done in super series in pairs of two but with no break (in a single lap) until the sixth and final exercise is finished. As you grow stronger, just keep increasing the number of laps and feel free to introduce variations to existing exercises. Finally, don&#8217;t forget to add at least 5-10 minutes of stretching at the end of your home workout.</p>
<p>Now that we got the basics covered, let&#8217;s see these simple yet efficient exercises that don’t require any equipment.</p>
<h2>Let&#8217;s start with the home workout:</h2>
<h2>1. Squats</h2>
<p>We are going to start with a well-known exercise that focuses mainly on your lower body. I suggest a simple bodyweight squat with the arms spread in front of you for the beginners. If they are are done properly, squats have a significant effect on your thighs, glutes, as well as the lower back and core muscles. Start with 10 reps a set and scale as your progress.</p>
<h2>2. Push-ups</h2>

<p>In accordance with the super series regime I mentioned, the next exercise is concentrated on the opposing muscles. In this case, for the second exercise, we are going to focus on the upper body by doing push-ups. As you probably know, push-ups come in various forms, and you should choose a variation that fits your current form the best.</p>
<h2>3. Wall Sitting</h2>
<p>For the third exercise, I have elected to go back to the legs with this very simple home workout exercise. While leaning against a wall or any other hard vertical surface, bend your knees and try to endure as much as possible in this position. This is a powerful way to put heat into your quads.</p>

<p>Lunges are an unavoidable activity in any basic training regime. Because of its popularity and introduction to almost all PE classes, this exercise is regularly done with virtually no focus. Therefore, it is done poorly. Keeping your back straight and minding the angles your knees are making is essential in doing a proper lunge. <p>Again, it is all about the endurance and putting your muscles to the test. Planking is a famous exercise in which you lay horizontally on the floor with your forearms and toes being the only points that actually touch the floor. You should keep your body in parallel with the floor and after only a few seconds you the tension will swarm across your entire body. You can boost the effects by flexing your abdominal muscles and prolonging the time in this stance.</p>
<p>Before doing any of these exercises check with a medical professional if you are able to perform them all correctly.
