There’s a saying: When you build in silence… they don’t know what to attack.

Don’t let the haters get a chance to attack you before you’ve done anything. Build in silence and shock them with your end result.

You must know the RESULTS will come if you get your head down and work.

You do not need to tell everyone what you’re up to or who you think you’re going to be. Just show them.

THE RESULTS WILL COME IF YOU GET YOUR HEAD DOWN AND WORK.

Your work ethic will show in your RESULTS.
 Your hustle will show in your RESULTS.

Your ability will show in your RESULTS. Your GREATNESS will show in your RESULTS. Never in your talk.

There’s no need to tell people how GREAT you are… when you are truly GREAT they will tell you.

It may seem impossible. It may feel like you can’t go on. But it will never happen if you quit.

If you keep going, have faith, you may be closer than you think.

Legendary pilot Chuck Yeager was the first person to break through the sound barrier.
 As soon as he’d accomplished that a reporter asked him what it felt like to break through the sound barrier…

He replied: ”Just before you break through the sound barrier is when the cockpit shakes the most.” And I am telling you, That is true for everyone and every-thing you want in life. Just before you are about to make a breakthrough is when you will be tested the most.

Your dream may be within reach… DO NOT be discouraged now.

If you quit now, what have you even been fighting for? It will all go to waste.

I need you to summon all the energy you have. All the faith you have. All the belief you have. All the power you have within you. And I need you to KEEP FIGHTING.

Let that cockpit shake. Hold on tight and look straight ahead. Stare down your goal and keep going until you arrive! Until you arrive at the destination you intend to go!

The storms have been around for a long time. Stay in the eye of the storm.
 KNOW they will pass,
 and KNOW the sun will shine.

HAVE FAITH everything will work out in the end.

You feel alone because you’ve been conditioned to believe that you need another person to complete you. You don’t.

You feel alone because you’re comparing yourself to others.
 You don’t have to.

You feel alone because you have yet to realize there is a greater purpose for your life.
You feel alone because all you’re thinking about is YOURSELF.

Think about it: If your mission was to do good for others, to serve others, to love others and give your best to everyone you encounter, there is no loneliness there.

Loneliness can only exist when your thoughts are 100% focused on yourself and what YOU DON’T HAVE.

You feel alone because you’re not living the life you want to live. You’re not living as YOU.
 
When you live a truly authentic life… the right people will show up.

If you are following the life you want to live, digging deep into your purpose… you will be so lit up with passion, there won’t be room for empty feelings of darkness.

Dr Wayne Dyer, once said:
 “You can not be lonely if you like the person you are alone with”

Spend more time alone and learn to love it.
 
Learn to love it because you love the person you are becoming.
 Because every day you are focused on your purpose. Your mission in life.

Every day you are chasing your dreams and living with passion in your soul.

Practicing daily GRATITUDE for what you do have… the people you do have in your life… and the PERSON YOU ARE ALREADY… will replace those feelings of loneliness with feelings of fullness.

So, if you feel alone… know that it is not other people you need. It is you who needs to grow.

Know it and commit to the work that is required to get to that place.

Commit to the reading, the daily gratitude, the learning from the best teachers, the inner work, the meditation… all of it.

Grow yourself and the right people will show up.

What do you want? Perhaps the most important question you could ever ask yourself, and the first question you should ask yourself, if your intention is to live your greatest life…

What do I want?

Isn’t it amazing that virtually no one is asking this? Why isn’t anyone asking this?

It’s not surprising to hear almost no one is living the life they want… when you know almost no one KNOWS WHAT THEY WANT. If you don’t know where you’re going you’ll never get there.
 If you don’t KNOW it, you’ll never GROW INTO IT.


If you’ve never thought about the life you must have or the person you want to become, how on earth do you expect to ever get to that place in the future?

No one knows what they want so it’s not surprising no one is living the life they want.

What do you want?

Write it out. Everything you want in your life. Be very very specific. Write in detail.

Close your eyes and dream of EXACTLY how your life would be if you had in it everything you want.

What would your health be like?
Your fitness?
Your physical strength?
What would your relationships be like?
Friends?
Family?
Your partner?
What would you be doing? Your passion. Your service to the world.
How would you be feeling?
Would there be more joy, more laughter in your life?
Would there be more peace?
More hugs, more love?
Would there be more adventure, more travel?
Would you be spending more time with family?
How much money would you be earning? How would you be earning it?
What would you LOVE doing to earn that money?
What would you be doing every day?
What makes you proud in that future self?

Now you have to ask yourself: What are you prepared to do to CLAIM THAT LIFE?

Because it is yours for the claiming.

It will require an insane amount of work and dedication, of course, but if you’re truly passionate about that list, it won’t be work, you will be driven, it will be your mission, your purpose… and nothing can stop a man on a mission to his purpose.

So, write it all out. Your dream life. EXACTLY WHAT YOU MUST HAVE IN IT.

It’s very important you write it out, not just think it. Then review that piece every day. Let it soak into your subconscious.

Next break down what you have to DO to live that life? What steps must you take to get to the top of that staircase that is your dream life? Take those steps to make it your reality.
One foot in front of the other, climb your way to your dream life. CLAIM IT. Today.

There’s no such thing as someone who “come out of no-where” The people you see come out of nowhere and rise to the top… they came from somewhere and their rise took YEARS. It took WORK. It took dedication and it took perseverance.

Malcolm Gladwell once wrote that to achieve greatness in any area… to become TRULY GREAT in any area… you have to put in 10,000 hours of practice.

NO ONE is BORN a SUCCESS… You must work your way there.
Most people aren’t prepared to put in 10,000 seconds let alone 10,000 hours.

What about you? Are you willing to go to those extremes? Are you willing to do what most don’t, so you can have what most will never know?

It must be an OBSESSION. An obsession to be the best. The best YOU.

It’s the PRIDE of perfecting that thing you love.

 Showing up every day. Not just showing up every day… but showing up with PASSION. Showing up with INTENTION.

INTENTION to learn!

It’s the ability to SACRIFICE all those things that offer you NO FUTURE VALUE so you can work toward the FUTURE THAT HAS VALUE TO YOU.

It’s the strength to follow your own path, no matter what happens.

They’ll complain about EVERYTHING… but do NOTHING to change ANYTHING.

They’ll work hard for a day… or maybe a week… or month… but when things don’t go their way, they take the easy way out.

They don’t find a way. They don’t dig deeper inside. They don’t fight for their dream! I FIGHT FOR MY DREAM! I FIGHT FOR MY POTENTIAL!

I FIGHT FOR EVERYTHING I WANT AND I DO NOT SETTLE FOR LESS!

If that’s what you want… great. If you want to take it easy and be comfy… great. That’s not me. That’s not the life I want.

I’m not here to live within your limits… I’m here to push past my own.

They say you’re boring when you don’t settle for a common life.

They say you’re boring when your goals are more important than partying.

They say you’re boring when your long term quality of life is more important than short term pleasure.

They say you’re boring when your future is more important than temporary fun. 

They say you’re boring when you know the consequences outweigh the benefits.

Discipline is not boring. Health is not boring. Designing a life of your choosing is not boring.

You know what is boring?

Boring is being like everyone else.

 Boring is wearing masks to fit in with others.

 Boring is turning into someone you are not, so you don’t have to face who you are.

Boring is having to drink because you haven’t accepted the person you are. Having to drink because you don’t think the sober you is good enough.

That’s not only boring, it’s sad.

If you think I’m boring for not wanting to be a part of that… I’m happy to be boring…

 but I’d encourage you to look in the mirror and ask yourself a few questions:

Ask yourself if you deserve more than this?

If you are capable of more?

If you can be happier long term without the short term poison… 

If you are comfortable with who you are on track to become.

Ask yourself if the people you are attracting through your drinking are the right people you want in your life? Are they making your life better, 

or making it worse, long term?

I’d encourage you to dig a little deeper. You’ve only got one shot at this. A very brief moment here, to become the greatest version of yourself and leave a lasting impression on those close to you.

Maybe it’s time to get a little more interesting, by first becoming one of the boring ones.

Discipline.

 DREAMS will not become REALITY without DISCIPLINE.

Without discipline there is no greatness. This is not my opinion… this is fact. This is fact that has been proven by several scientific tests.

One of those tests was by a man named Walter Mischel… a professor at Stanford University who developed the now famous marshmallow experiment.

The marshmallow experiment was a series of studies conducted with a children to test their discipline and delayed gratification.

The children were offered one marshmallow… but with a catch….

They were allowed to eat the marshmallow… but they were told if they waited approximately 15 minutes they would get a second marshmallow.

 In follow up studies, the researchers determined the children who showed discipline, and were able to wait for the delayed but bigger and better reward, went on to have better life outcomes.

 Better education. Better health. Better finances.

Now, it’s easy to dismiss this test by saying they’re only kids… but think about your life … or many adults you might know… maybe even yourself.

How many times do most human beings choose the easy or fast option that is available now… rather than waiting for the bigger reward?

I’ll tell you… it’s most people.



Most people will choose the easy option now… never understanding the easy option now almost always leads to a hard life later.

Successful people do whatever it takes now to ensure an easier life later.

Sacrifice now… enjoy later. Discipline now… better life later. 

Let me give you an example most people can relate to. Diet.

You might say, but I have no discipline with my diet? What do I do??

How to develop that discipline?

Everyone knows if you have a lack of discipline with your diet… that will reflect in your heath and physical appearance… in a negative way…

And on the reverse side, if you do have discipline, that will reflect in a positive way in your health, energy and physical appearance.

But why do some people seem to be able to easily apply discipline to their food choices and some continually struggle with it?

Here’s 3 clear reasons.

Number 1.


Those who lack discipline in any area have NOT made the end result important enough.

Example: Mary struggled with her diet for years, she tried diet after diet… program after program… but was never able to maintain the discipline to make a lifelong change.

 That was, until she was told by her doctor that if she didn’t lose 50 pounds immediately she was at great risk of having a heart attack…

Having 2 kids and family and friends who she loved dearly, suddenly Mary had a powerful reason to change.

 Suddenly she HAD TO make it a priority.

She was overweight before and SHOULD HAVE made the change… but without linking that powerful reason in her conscious mind she had no LEVERAGE to make the change and maintain the discipline.

 She had to link death to the unhealthy food to stop the cycle.

When it’s life and death MOST PEOPLE will change… but when it’s ruining your life… most people won’t change…

Don’t be most people. STOP and think about all the reasons YOU MUST CHANGE… and all the reasons you must maintain that discipline.

 You don’t have to wait for a life-threatening diagnosis in order to change. DECIDE TO CHANGE NOW.

Think of all the pain that will occur in the future if you don’t change… and the amazing life you will live… and the positive impact you will have on people you love WHEN you do change!

Link pain to the things that cause you future pain….

And link the positives that will give our future positives.

NUMBER 2.

The people that fail to maintain a disciplined lifestyle don’t know what they are doing it for.

They have no goals and no targeted end result.

Just like the marshmallow test, if you haven’t linked in your mind the BETTER RESULT coming in the future… you’ll most likely take the easy option now, rather than wait or sacrifice for the better option later.

 You must have clear goals and deadlines.

Back to the diet example:

If you have a clear target weight, body fat percentage, or body image that you must reach within 12 weeks you will be far more likely to stick to your diet, than someone who has no specific target or goal.

Imagine two people who need to arrive at the same destination.

 One has a navigation system, and their destination is locked in.

 The other has no idea where they ARE or where they are going…

common sense can answer who will arrive at their destination first… (or at all)

Having clear goals is no different! Without clear direction you will end up in the wrong section!

Successful people are always focused on the END RESULT. They start at the end and figure out how to get there from where they are. Unsuccessful people focus on where they are and how hard it is right now…

they never understand that their LIFE will continue to be hard UNLESS THEY CHANGE THEIR APPROACH.

Set your goals. Make them clear. Make them meaningful. Give them deadlines.

Number 3.

Those who lack discipline fail to make their goals a priority. They fail to make their goals meaningful.

You won’t always be motivated. You must learn to be disciplined.

With discipline, your results will improve. When your results improve, your desire to grow will rise.

SELF-DISCIPLINE IS A KEY INGREDIENT to the success mix.

 It might well be THE MOST IMPORTANT PIECE.

Conquer your self. Show your discipline.

When you practice consistent acts of discipline you are sending a message to your sub-conscious that you are in-charge.

 You are not being run by habit, or by automated activity like most people.

YOU RUN THE DAY. YOU ARE IN CHARGE!

Jim Rohn once said

: “We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret or disappointment.”

Don’t let it be the latter.

Suffer the pain of discipline now… so you can enjoy your results… so you can love your life, LATER.
