										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="graf graf--p">It’s only when things get so bad that you realize you have to change. Some things have to be learned the hard way for them to truly make a difference in your life.</p>
<p class="graf graf--p">I found the importance of routines in 2017 as I left my cushy corporate job to follow my passions and become an entrepreneur.</p>
<p class="graf graf--p">As soon as I handed in my notice to quit, I finally had it. Freedom! No one telling me what to do all day, every day.</p>
<p class="graf graf--p">To help get me motivated, I listened to a lot of Gary Vee and started hustling. I was hungry for success.</p>
<p class="graf graf--p">But after six months of non-stop hustling, I was burnt out.</p>
<p class="graf graf--p">I wasn’t sleeping much, my income wasn&#8217;t reflecting my work ethic, and I just felt awful about my progress. I knew something had to change.</p>
<p class="graf graf--p">Thankfully, I started studying elite entrepreneurs like Tony Robbins, <span style="color: #3366ff;"><a style="color: #3366ff;" href="https://www.fearlessmotivation.com/2019/03/28/dean-graziosi-quotes/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Dean Graziosi</a></span>, and Tom Bilyeu. Their content changed everything.</p>
<p>One of the biggest things I found is that they all have solid morning and evening routines. Since implementing this myself, my business and life have been 100X better.</p>
<p class="graf graf--p">Here’s why every entrepreneur needs an empowering morning routine.</p>
<h1>Morning Routines for Entrepreneurs</h1>

<p class="graf graf--p">Entrepreneurship is filled with disappointment, rejection and constant failure. After metaphorically getting knocked down so many times, it’s hard to feel like a winner still.</p>
<p class="graf graf--p">But a morning routine is there to help you win. As soon as I started a morning routine, I almost instantly felt better about myself.</p>
<p class="graf graf--p">Before it, my confidence was lacking. I felt like a massive failure despite working 12-14 hours a day. Jumping from one shiny object and tactic to the next without any real plan, day after day.</p>
<p class="graf graf--p">But, if you get up when you say, do the rituals you need, and do it with consistency, you can create a winning mentality.</p>
<h2 class="graf graf--h3">You Need Energy</h2>
<p class="graf graf--p">Without energy, you’re going to fail as an entrepreneur. Especially if you are the face of your brand or business.</p>
<p class="graf graf--p">Morning rituals are meant to give you energy so you can give it away throughout the day.  Like T. Harv Eker said, <em>&#8220;Energy is contagious; either you affect people or you infect people.&#8221; </em></p>
<p>If you have the right rituals in place like exercise, meditation, and <span style="color: #3366ff;"><a style="color: #3366ff;" href="https://www.fearlessmotivation.com/2018/12/13/nutrition-guide-muscle-growth/">eating healthy</a></span>, you set yourself up for optimal energy levels.</p>

<h2 class="graf graf--h3">You Need to Keep the Promises You Make to Yourself</h2>
<p class="graf graf--p">As <a href="https://www.fearlessmotivation.com/2019/02/28/ed-mylett-max-out-your-life/"><span style="color: #3366ff;">Ed Mylett</span></a> said, <em>&#8220;Entrepreneurship is riddled with false starts. One step forward, two or three steps back.&#8221;</em></p>
<p class="graf graf--p">Waking up on time, going through your rituals, and getting the day started on your terms builds self-integrity. Doing the little things right on a consistent basis can train your mind to follow through on the things you need to do to succeed.</p>
<h2 class="graf graf--h3">You Need Time to Focus on Your Health</h2>
<p class="graf graf--p">Its easy to feel like you don’t have time to workout or eat healthy when you’re an entrpenreur. You justify skipping the gym or meal prepping so you can spend more time on the business.</p>
<p class="graf graf--p">But you have to focus on your health so you have energy throughout the day. If you&#8217;re sick or have injuries, it&#8217;s nearly impossible to grow your business.</p>
<p class="graf graf--p">Two of my favorite entrepreneurs, Ed Mylett and Tom Bilyeu, talks about the importance of health regularly on their podcasts.</p>
<p class="graf graf--p">As Ed Mylett said, <em>“I think you can take away about 90% of my wealth if I’m not dedicated to fitness.” </em></p>
<p class="graf graf--p">Morning routines give you time to focus on your health and well being. If you look at most successful entrepreneurs in the world, they are always in good to to excellent shape.</p>
<h2 class="graf graf--h3">You Need to Bookend The Day</h2>
<p class="graf graf--p"> A great morning routine only works if you have a night time routine. And it only takes 10–15 minutes to do before bed.</p>
<p class="graf graf--p">If not, you’ll wake up not sure what your plan is and make it easy to get off track early. This creates an early “L” for the day.</p>
<p class="graf graf--p">Here’s what my evening routine looks like:</p>
<ul class="postList">
<li class="graf graf--li">Journal at least three wins for the day (usually leads to 4 or 5) <strong class="markup--strong markup--li-strong">(2 mins)</strong></li>
<li class="graf graf--li">Recap big lessons I’ve learned throughout the day <strong class="markup--strong markup--li-strong">(3 mins) </strong></li>
<li class="graf graf--li">Write down three things I’m grateful for on that specific day <strong class="markup--strong markup--li-strong">(3 mins) </strong></li>
<li class="graf graf--li">Plan the next day. I plan when I’ll wake up, what rituals I’ll do, identify the hardest tasks, and plan the rest of the day <strong class="markup--strong markup--li-strong">(5 mins) </strong></li>
<li class="graf graf--li">Read and visualize my big goals as already being accomplished <strong class="markup--strong markup--li-strong">(2 mins)</strong></li>
</ul>
<p class="graf graf--p">This short night time routine sets me up for success because it tells my mind it’s time to wind down. It makes you focus on your wins for the day and sets up tomorrow for success.</p>
<p class="graf graf--p">Then each morning is a fresh start to conquer the day. My routines provide the necessary structure I used to lack from trying to hustle 20 hours per day.</p>
<p class="graf graf--p">As Larry Winget said, <em>“Nobody ever wrote down a plan to be fat, lazy or stupid. That’s what happens when you don’t have a plan.” </em></p>
<h2 class="graf graf--h3">You Need Quiet Moments</h2>
<p class="graf graf--p">Entrepreneurships isn’t for everyone. It’s long hours, little pay, and lonely moments in the beginning. It’s easy to give into the fears that your brain produces and listen.</p>
<p class="graf graf--p">But if you have a morning mindfulness or meditation ritual, it makes it much easier to become aware of your thoughts the rest of the day.</p>
<p class="graf graf--p">Plus, I find to get almost all of my ideas when I wake up thanks to my subconsscious hard at work while I’m sleeping. As <span style="color: #3366ff;"><a style="color: #3366ff;" href="https://www.fearlessmotivation.com/2018/07/04/thomas-edison-quotes/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Thomas Edison</a></span> said, <em>“Never go to sleep without a request from your subconscious.” </em></p>
<p class="graf graf--p">Each night, when I lay in bed, I ask myself one or two questions on a problem I haven’t been able to solve. But unless you have some quiet moments, you won’t be able to hear the answers to the questions.</p>
<p class="graf graf--p">Not to mention, meditation has endless benefits that will help any entrepreneur deal with inevitable stresses throughout the day.</p>
<h2 class="graf graf--h3">You Need a Digital Detox</h2>
<p class="graf graf--p">As a podcaster and writer, I’m in front of a screen way too much.</p>
<p class="graf graf--p">The first 60 minutes of the day the phone is in airplane mode. This digital detox is necessary because the rest of the day I’m sure you’ll be glued to your phone or laptop like I am.</p>
<h2>Next Steps</h2>
<p>Create a morning routine that will set you up for success. If you&#8217;re an entrepreneur, you&#8217;re going to need all the energy and brain activity you can to get turn your vision into reality.</p>
<p>Start small and find 1-2 rituals to do each morning. As you grow and evolve, <span style="color: #3366ff;"><a style="color: #3366ff;" href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QXTtRqFWe8" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">so should your set of rituals</a></span>.</p>
<p>Remember, as high-achiever Tim Ferriss said, <em>&#8220;If you win the morning, you win the day.&#8221;</em></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As the legendary motivational speaker and author<span style="color: #3366ff;"> <a style="color: #3366ff;" href="https://www.fearlessmotivation.com/2017/03/17/10-brian-tracy-quotes-and-lessons-that-will-make-you-great/">Brian Tracy</a> </span>said, “Successful people are simply those with successful habits.” And he’s right. Especially when it comes to winning the morning.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">One of the ways to do this is known as the hour of power. The hour of power routine has a few different versions but all have a lot in common.  </span></p>
<h1><strong>Hour of Power: Create Your Powerful Morning Routine</strong></h1>
<h2><strong>Jack Canfield’s Hour of Power</strong></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><a href="https://www.fearlessmotivation.com/2018/02/20/4-success-principles-that-will-change-your-life/"><span style="color: #3366ff;">Jack Canfield</span></a>, author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul Series and The Success Principles, love his hour of power. His version includes:</span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">20 minutes of exercise</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">20 minutes of meditation</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">And 20 minutes of reading or watching something positive and/or inspirational </span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Each of these helps him start the morning off with gratitude, movement, and inspired. One common thing among ultra-successful people is avoiding your phone for the first hour of the day. Give yourself a digital detox.</span></p>
<p>Besides, how many times have looking at your phone in the morning actually made your day better?</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re like most people its just a distraction and easy to end up on the vortex of social media.</p>

<h2><strong>Tony Robbins’s Hour of Power</strong></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Tony Robbins is another huge proponent of morning routines and has several different rituals, depending on the amount of time you have available. While the hour of the power of is good in theory, not everyone always has a full 60 minutes each day.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In this case, it’s important to have a variety of 15 and 30-minute versions instead of skipping altogether. Here’s what Tony’s 15-minute ritual looks like:</span></p>
<h3><strong>15 Minutes of Fulfillment</strong></h3>
<ol>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><b>Move and Breathe (5 minutes):</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> As Tony says, “Motion creates emotion.” Use some sort of diaphragm breathing or short burst of exercise to wake up your nervous system once you wake up. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><b>Gratitude Exercise (5 minutes):</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Go to any Tony Robbins seminar and you&#8217;ll instantly understand the importance of gratitude. In this exercise, focus on three things you’re grateful for in life. Nothing is too small or big. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><b>Incantations (5 minutes): </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">Incantations are a form of affirmations in which you use your body and breath more than simply reading positive statements. Tony’s said in several interviews he used to shout incantations at max volume while driving in his car. He’s said that they&#8217;ve helped rewire his subconscious and help him achieve more.</span></li>
</ol>
<h2><strong>Start Your Hour of Power</strong></h2>
<p>If you&#8217;re ready to start your hour of power for the new year here are some easy rituals to add to your routine:</p>
<ul>
<li>Writing in a gratitude journal or expressing gratitude outwardly</li>
<li>Journaling your goals and future plans</li>
<li>Exercising, yoga, stretching or going for a brisk walk</li>
<li>Watching or reading something inspirational or uplifting</li>
<li>Having a healthy breakfast and preparing a healthy lunch</li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Remember, you can always change the terms of your hour. It is your Hour of Power. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">But have fun with it, and know that it’s extremely effective in centering you, uplifting you, and <span style="color: #3366ff;"><a style="color: #3366ff;" href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCf9_s9ii6BZ-klpgmtIi3WQ" target="_blank" rel="noopener">helping you create a powerful, positive day</a></span>.</span></p>

<p>Take control of the morning so you take control of your day. Own the morning so you can own your day!</p>

<h2><em>Start your day right, so the rest of your day falls into place.</em></h2>
</blockquote>
<p>Schedule that time. It’s more important than anything. Sleep 30 minutes less if you need to. Give this to yourself.</p>
<p>Are you happy with your life? Are you where you want to be?</p>
<p>If you answered yes, turn the audio off.   If you answered no&#8230; and you want to GROW, Keep listening.</p>
<p>Start every day with at least 5 minutes of powerful energy. 5 minutes of positive energy first thing in the morning can change your entire day. And if you can change your entire day, with consistent positive thoughts, you can change your entire life.</p>
<h1><strong>  Can you do more? Can you be more?</strong></h1>
<p>If you know you can be more, you need to commit to being more, and you need to START NOW.</p>
<p>You need to commit now, to start every day with the mindset of someone who LOVES LIFE. The mindset of someone who is going to WIN THE DAY. No matter what happens.</p>

<p>You will win the day, because you will set your day up to win.</p>
<p>Your first job, as soon as you rise, is to give thanks.  Give thanks you are alive.   Give thanks for everything you DO have. Give thanks for everything you usually take for granted.</p>
<p>SET YOUR INTENTIONS for the day.  SET YOUR GOALS for the day.   Give thanks in advance for the things you want. Put that intention out in the world:</p>

<p>Wake up with INTENTION, by setting those INTENTIONS the night before.   Wake up with only positive intentions.</p>

<h2><em>The morning is not the time for phones, not the time for work or problem solving. The morning is the time to get in sync with what you want.  </em></h2>
</blockquote>
<p>Create an unbreakable morning routine.   A consistent routine that will soon bring CONSISTENT RESULTS.</p>
<p>Ask yourself: “How do I want this day to go”  &#8230; “How do I want to feel today?” &#8230; “How to I want to treat others?”</p>
<p>How you start your day, is usually how you’re going to LIVE your day.   If you start it believing it’s going to be a great day, chances are it will be.   If you start your day, with the INTENTION you are going to be happy today, no matter what happens, chances are, you will be happy, no matter what happens.</p>
<p>If you don’t start your day off in the right mindset&#8230; at the first challenge or test, you will break&#8230; you will respond with negativity rather than positivity&#8230; And what are the chances of challenges showing up? Probably around 100%</p>
<p>So make sure you are ready for those challenges.  Ready with an unbreakable spirit . Ready with a positive mindset. Ready to REDIRECT any negativity.</p>
<p>GET AFTER THE LIFE YOU WANT!  IT’S A MUST!  DON’T LET IT GET AWAY FROM YOU!  RUN AFTER IT!</p>
<p>PLAN YOUR DAY. If you know where you’re going you will eventually get where you need to go.</p>

<h2><em>If you have no direction you will end up in the wrong section.   Successful people have INTENTION and they have DIRECTION.   They know where they are going! That is why they get there. </em></h2>

<p>The most important thing to do, first thing in the morning, is get yourself in a powerful state.</p>
<p>If you’re in a GREAT mood, you will produce GREAT results. You will have a GREAT day.   The better your attitude, the better the results you produce.   The better your attitude, the better you can handle, overcome and thrive through challenges and difficulties that come your way.</p>
<p>So, get yourself in a great mood. Do whatever it takes to get that feeling first thing in the morning, whatever works for you: Meditation. Reading. Gratitude. Music. Exercise. These are all good options that get you in state.</p>
<blockquote>
<h2><em>When your mind is positive and clear, you can handle just about anything, can’t you?</em></h2>
</blockquote>
<p>And when you can face challenges with a clear mind, they lose their power, they no longer halt your progress, they no longer have a strangle over your day, or your life.   You simply choose the best way to move forward and move on.</p>
<blockquote>
<h2><em>Most people don’t start their days like this.  Most people aren’t happy.  Don’t be most people.   Be the minority.</em></h2>
</blockquote>
<p>The minority who start their day WITH POSITIVE EXPECTATIONS.  With an amazing attitude and a BELIEF that today is going to be an amazing day.</p>
<p>Look at yourself in the mirror and repeat to yourself:</p>

<h2><em>&#8220;Today is going to be a great day.  No matter what happens, today I will see the good. No matter what happens, I will do the right thing.  No matter what happens I WILL GIVE MY ALL TODAY.   Today I will give my best, so tomorrow will be better.&#8221;</em></h2>

<p>We all have the same amount of time. But some people make the most of it, and some people drudge through it.  Make the most of yours.   LIVE with a smile on your face.  BELIEVE you are deserving of a great life and get out there and CREATE ONE.</p>
<p>If you change your thinking&#8230; you can change your life. So how do you change your thinking? Well, how do you change your body? You change the body by changing what you feed your body. You change your body by changing how you work your body.  The same is true for your thinking.</p>
<p>Change what you feed your thoughts. Feed it with positive affirmations and beliefs.  Feed it with new knowledge on self development.  If you learn HOW to change you WILL CHANGE.</p>

<h2><em>Work out your mind with books, with audio, books and audio that expand your existing mindset into something greater.  GROW yourself by learning more. GROW yourself by doing the things successful people do.</em></h2>
</blockquote>
<p>No matter what this day brings. A challenge, A miracle, an unexpected blessing, whatever it is: I am grateful for it.</p>
<p>Affirm to yourself every day:</p>

<p>Visualize what YOU are going to do today, to get more out of your life.</p>
<p>Do it every day, and every day you will love the life you have created for yourself.</p>
