Transcript – GO HIGHER – Motivational Speech (The Eagle and Crow) – Fearless Motivation

I came across this image and story the other day and had to share it with you all.

The image, as you can see, is of a crow, sitting on the back of an eagle. The crow is biting the eagle as it is flying, high in the sky.

The story says:

“The only bird that will dare peck at an eagle is the crow. The crow sits on the eagles back and bites his neck.”

Now listen to this:

“The eagle does not respond or fight with the crow. It simply opens up its wings and begins to rise higher and higher in the sky.”

“The higher the eagle flies, the harder it is for the crow to breathe, and then, due to a lack of oxygen, the crow falls away and the eagle is free.”

What’s the moral of the story?

Stop wasting your time with the CROWS of LIFE!

The crow represents all the challenges of LIFE!

The crow represents so many things in your life…

Some people that should not be in your life… critics… opinions… distractions… all the annoyances of life.

Everything that is pecking at you, prodding you, disturbing you, AND challenging you.

You can choose to fight everything, wasting your precious energy and getting nowhere… or you can SOAR HIGHER like the eagle and watch all of your challenges fade away.

When people criticise you: GO HIGHER.
When life challenges you: GO HIGHER.
When there seems to be endless problems pecking at you: GO HIGHER!

You go higher by GETTING BETTER!

You go higher by doing that WORK ON YOU.

LEARNING MORE so you can BE MORE!

WORKING HARDER and WORKING SMARTER so you can RESPOND BETTER.

Then, when the ‘crows of life’ appear, they won’t stay around for long, because they will not be able to BREATHE at your level!

Most challenges disappear when you go HIGHER.

Problems can only disturb you when you’re not good enough to handle them.

When YOU improve, your LIFE improves.
When YOU improve, your response to EVERY CHALLENGE life throws at you is STRONGER… and so it makes sense that your LIFE will be STRONGER!

So when life challenges you today, be an EAGLE…
GO HIGHER!

That was so edifying and uplifting. I apply it to my life. Iam a witness that it is true. I applied to my life when I didn’t even realize it. All I can say is that God had my back and he was guiding me through all that I was going through. I give God the glory. Amen.

I can’t believe the eagle can fly high enough so the crow can’t breathe. Can’t find an actual fact check on this in a quick search, but definitely seems counter-intuitive. Where’d you get this story? If it’s not true, it sort of loses its power.

The story is true. I checked Goggle after reading your comment. Eagles can fly at 10,000 feet, bur crows can do up to 7,000 feet. At higher altitudes, the crow finds it difficult to breathe.

Am so inspired by the crow and eagle story. It’s the only bird that attacks the eagle by perching on the eagles back biting into its neck. In this regard the crow can injure the eagle at a low altitude and may even kill it. The eagle’ s response is not to fall to the ground and have a fight a battle it would lose. The eagle has the ability to out fly the crow as it rises to a higher altitude where the crow cant breathe and must let go and fall to the ground.
The moral of this story is that we all meet many grows daily in our lives seeking to drag us down into the mud fight, quarrel,,hatred, unfogiveness, and resentment.
Let’s all practice to rise above the level of the crows that perch on us daily. Respond with tolerance, love forgiveness, pitty. Never fight back .Cast your cares upon the Lord for He cares for you and can elevate you above your negative circumstances. Look up away from the ground and elevate your thoughts and responses to the heavens and you will experience peace hope victory and joy under the worse circumstances.

Eagles are powerful and smart, but after meeting crows, their brains are not enough
