Don’t let their shade block your light.
 Don’t let their words, which are based around their own fears and limitations, stop you from going after what you want.

Don’t ever let the opinions of others, stop you from living the life you know you are capable of.

 When you are grateful for everything you DO have, you have no room for negativity, no room for doubt or anxiety.

A strong mind is built with GOALS.
 GOALS that give you a reason to get out of bed and attack the day.

 A strong mind is built from knowing YOU are responsible for your life. Your results. Your success and your failures.

A strong mind is built with LEARNING.
 Learning new things every day, on topics that expand your mind and develop your skills.

GROWTH is the key to life.
If you are GROWING and challenging yourself every day you’ll lead a happy life, if you’re not, you will suffer.

The mind is like a muscle, it get’s stronger when you embrace challenges. When you push it to it’s limits. When you learn what works and apply that to your life.

Every day is a new opportunity to take responsibility for our actions. To ask honestly:
“Can i do better?”

That argument I had with my friend or partner?
Can I do better?
It doesn’t matter if they were right or wrong
It doesn’t matter if I even like the person or not
Can I do better?
Did the negative energy I put out take me closer to, or further away from who I want to be?

How I have been feeding my body…
Can I do better?
Regardless of how hard it is.
Regardless of my lack of time.
What can I do better?
What can I do better to ensure I am functioning at my highest level every day?

What about my financial results…
Can I do better?
No more excuses!
It’s not my bosses fault I’m not rich.
I am where I am because of my decisions!
Can I do better?
Yes. I can.
Will I find out how I can do better?
Yes. I WILL.
Starting when? Starting right now.

What about my happiness.
Can I do better?
Yes!
Because it doesn’t matter WHAT HAPPENS around me, there is only one person that decides what happens within me, and that is ME!
I decide how I react to every circumstance.
I decide how I react to other people, therefor I am always in control of my feelings, my emotions… my life!

Can I do better?
Yes!
Will I do better?
Yes!
Am I committed ? YES!!!!

The truth is, most of us can do better.
 We can do better today, and then tomorrow we can do better again.
 We were born to GROW, and to be truly fulfilled we must be growing in all areas of our life.

Make a commitment to yourself to work on EVERY area of your life.

 Your happiness. Your relationships. Your health and fitness. Your finances. EVERYTHING.

Think for a moment how incredible your life could be in 1 year, 3 years, 5 years.

 What is possible?

 Maybe you want to be a millionaire?
 Can you do it? Yes you can.
 Find references. Learn how. Make a plan and work toward it.

Maybe you want the physique and health of a fitness model.
 Can you achieve it?
 Yes you can. Find references. Learn how. Make a plan, set your deadlines and work toward it.

Can I do better: YES
!
Will I do better: YES!
Am I committed: YES

When you feel like quitting… Remember PAIN IS TEMPORARY… GREATNESS LASTS FOREVER.

When you feel like quitting: Remember that the pain you feel today will be replaced with the STRENGTH you need tomorrow.

Remember that every ounce of pain you feel is building a stronger you. A stronger body.
 A stronger mind,
AND a stronger character.

So push through the pain
Don’t let it stop you
Force it to GROW YOU.

Don’t back down from the pain.
Face it! 
FEEL NO PAIN.
 THERE IS NO PAIN.

That painful last rep,
That’s nothing. Give me more!
 PUSH HARDER!

Too tired.
 Too hard.
 Too busy.
 Too early.

When I feel like quitting, I remember:
 There’s too many people I need to prove wrong.

I WILL NOT QUIT.

Sleep ins… they’re for grandmas.
I’m up, I’m ready to go.

Quitting… that’s for those who have NO HEART.
I do not quit.

You’re greatest physique. Your greatest health. Your greatest strength. It doesn’t come with average effort.
If you want average results,
keep rocking up and giving average effort.

If you want to be at your best, you will have to give your best effort.

Make an oath to yourself that you will not walk out of any training session, any game, any-thing, without giving 110% of your soul.
Whatever you think is your limit… PUSH PAST IT.

Whatever you think is your max. See if you can get 10% more out.

Results don’t lie.

It all comes down to one simple question:
How bad do you want it?

And when you feel like quitting…
Give me 10 more!

Nothing great is going to come if you quit.

 I know it’s hard. I know you are tired.
 I know it seems impossible…

But you must KEEP GOING.

Is it going to be easy?
No. Is it going to be HARD? Hell yeah… And that is the best part.

The best part is pushing through the pain.
The best part is the CHALLENGE.

You need to have goals that seem out of reach,
At least goals that are HARD to reach.
You, pushing through all the crap in your way to get there.
YOU, clawing past all the demons to get to your goal. YOU, climbing and climbing to reach the top of that mountain peak NO ONE thought you could reach.
It’s YOU.
.. Hearing your body say NO MORE and then hearing your mind say:
SHUT UP, I GOT THIS!
I’m in charge today and you’re coming with me!

You see, your mind is stronger than your body, and if you program your mind to always go one more round, to always push past what you perceive is your limit,

 to give more than ANYONE ELSE would ever expect from you… sooner or later your body will realize, this guy won’t let up, so I’m just going to have to GROW with him.

Your muscle, in the gym, and in life can ONLY grow with resistance, with struggle and by PUSHING the limits. By EXPANDING expectations.

In the gym, Putting a little more weight on the bar each time.
 Going a little further each time. Pushing a little harder each time.
In your life, extending your goals a little more each time.
 Learning a little more every day. Expanding your mind every day. 

Pushing the limits of what is possible for you, until you break that barrier you need to break.

Then, you set a bigger goal. A more exciting goal. Add more weight. Do more reps. Add a new CHALLENGE.

Challenge equals GROWTH.
You can not and will not GROW without CHALLENGE.

 And that is what I mean when I say the best part is that it is HARD.

 That is what separates the average and the great.
 The average run from hard. They hide from challenge.
 The great.. they run towards hard.
 They LOVE a BATTLE 
and they grow from challenge!

Without challenge, life is dull and void of meaning.

Without PUSHING YOURSELF in the gym, you will NEVER get any results.
In life, if you don’t push yourself, if you don’t have clear targets to work toward that require you to step out of your comfort zone, that make you uncomfortable – you can not grow your character and you will not grow your life.

So what do you want for your life?
 Do you want to take the easy road?
 Or do you want to take the GROWTH road?

PUSH YOURSELF. START WHERE YOU ARE,
With whatever you have, and work toward what you MUST HAVE.
Become OBSESSED with your targets and when you BREAK THROUGH THAT BARRIER… 
give yourself a pat on the back, and then… GET BACK TO WORK.
The time to GROW is always NOW
Is there anything better in life than GROWING?
No.
That feeling… The knowing you pushed yourself to this point…. You faced every challenge and you prevailed… there’s not many better feelings in life.

Challenge equals GROWTH. You can not and will not GROW without CHALLENGE.

DISCIPLINE.
HARD WORK.
SACRIFICE.
HARD WORK.
DEDICATION.
HARD WORK.
RELENTLESS.
HARD WORK.

I see the goal in the distance.
It’s far away. It’s blurry. I don’t know how I’ll get there.
I see the obstacles. The challenges. The demons….
Blinkers on! I move toward my goal,
One challenge at a time I will face, I will destroy.
I know nothing is stronger than my will.
No challenge too great. No set back too large.
I WILL GET THERE, if I don’t quit.
I WILL NEVER QUIT.
ITS THE CHALLENGE THAT EXCITES ME THE MOST. THE GROWTH. 
THE JOURNEY.
THE PAIN THAT IS A GIFT FROM THE GODS OF GROWTH.

Don’t back down from a challenge.
Destroy it like a WARRIOR
Destroy that challenge

In life, In the gym,
your body, your health…



EFFORT.

You can talk all you want… Results don’t lie. EFFORT doesn’t lie.

When it’s game day…
when it’s SHOWTIME… Those who talk but haven’t worked…
The work they’ve put in will be seen by everyone.

Those who kept their mouth shut and WORKED when no one was watching, Their work will be seen by everyone too, but in a much different way.

 Which one do you want to be?

SACRIFICE

If you don’t sacrifice for what you want,
WHAT YOU WANT will become the sacrifice.

 And you will have to SETTLE for a life you DO NOT want.

If you aren’t willing to SACRIFICE now, for what you want,
then you can guarantee that LATER you will be making sacrifices for many things you don’t want.

If you don’t work for it NOW, you will be working for someone who DID work for it, later. 

If you don’t put in the blood, sweat and tears NOW.
 Sacrifice your time, sacrifice your nights out, give up your treats… 

If you don’t give up everything that is holding you back, that will be reflecting back to you in your FUTURE.

That’s life.

Success will never come easy. GREAT results will NEVER come easy.

You might get lucky. You might get OK results. But long term, success requires SACRIFICE. EFFORT and DISCIPLINE.

The good news is, you rarely have to sacrifice anything that will give you long term pleasure.

Almost always, all you really have to give up are things that are dragging you down. The things that do nothing for your future.

DISCIPLINE.

Your body is a mirror reflection of the sacrifice you make in the kitchen and in the gym.

 The DISCIPLINE to say no to short term temptation over long term pride.
 The DISCIPLINE to get up, to drag yourself through a workout. Consistently. Not just one day. EVERY DAY.

Do you want the quick fix now, that leads to a bigger problem later?
Or discipline now that leads to pride later?
STRENGTH LATER.
STRONG HABITS LATER.
CLEAR MIND LATER.
POSITIVE INFLUENCE OVER OTHERS LATER?

Without EFFORT you will NEVER get it
Without SACRIFICE you will NEVER get it
WITHOUT DISCIPLINE you will NEVER KEEP IT

So I’m asking you… Have you got what it takes to be great?

Tell yourself:
 It may take time… 
It may take HUGE EFFORT… 

I may have to dig deep and go to places I’ve never been before…
 BUT I WILL MAKE IT! 
I WILL DO IT!

I WILL STAND AT THE END WITH PRIDE KNOWING I STOOD FIRM.
KNOWING I LET NOTHING AND NO ONE STOP ME.

THIS GOAL I HAVE… THIS DREAM I HAVE…
It is more important THAN ANYTHING.

You can throw whatever you like my way.
 I WILL DEFEAT IT.
 I WILL DEFEAT IT WITH MY WILL! 
I WILL GET THERE!
 I WILL!

You can’t soar like an eagle when you surround yourself with turkeys.
Isn’t that the truth.

But in order to soar like an eagle, you also must release yourself from anything that is weighing you down.

You can’t soar like an eagle if you’re unhealthy. 
I don’t see any obese eagles dominating the sky.

Your health is probably the most important part of your life. Certainly one of the most important factors in living a GREAT life.

Having ENERGY for life, starts in your physical body.

It’s much easier to get your mind right when your body is right.
Build a strong body and your mind will follow.

You can’t soar like an eagle with the mindset of a turkey.

If you don’t believe you can fly, you will never fly.
If you don’t believe you are capable of soaring to the top of your own mountain peak in life, you will never try and therefor never succeed.

If your mind is full of negativity…
You will never see the positive.

If your mind is full of limitations it is closed off to opportunities and possibilities that might be right in front of your face.

So in order for you to soar like that eagle, you need to get your blinkers on.
You must FOCUS.

 The eagle can FOCUS on and lock in on its prey from miles away.
You must FOCUS on your goal, and lock it in from wherever you are.
ELIMINATE the idea of defeat!
LOCK in your goal.
DETERMINE what it is going to take to get there and TAKE OFF. 
Just GO – Go get that GOAL.
Don’t stop until you have it in your grasp!

Next you must fill your mind and body with ONLY the things that will take you closer to your goals.

If you’re surrounded by turkeys it’s time to limit that interaction, and get around the dream chasers.
 Those that want to SOAR.

Those that want to LEAD.
 Those that are prepared to face the storm, and thrive despite the storm.

If you have weights tied to your legs,
if you have things that are weighing you down in life and preventing you from taking off…
it’s NOW time to release those shackles.

Set yourself free so you can fly.
It might not be easy to get those shackles off. 
It might be painful.
It might leave a scar.
 But you must do what is best for you.
You can not be imprisoned for your entire life.

 You were born to fly.
To DOMINATE
To make your own decisions.
To walk your own path, 
To do it on your watch!

 You were born to be in control of your life.
You were born to DOMINATE
You MUST follow your own path!

If the turkeys love you, they will learn to soar with you.
If they are meant to be with you, you can help them along, but you can only help them after you help yourself.
 You must go your own way first.

If you can see it in your mind… If you can believe it in your heart… If you have the courage to speak it,
If you have the courage to own it… and the desire to work for it… you can bring it into your reality.

There’s nothing off limits. There are NO LIMITATIONS. There are NO limitations to those who believe and those who are willing to work for their dream.

You have to see it in your mind
before you can see it in your reality.

You have to be a visionary. Picture everything you want so clearly in your mind, until you can see it right in front of you.

Write it all down on a piece of paper. Create a vision board, then you will have evidence in the future,
evidence of the amazing power of your mind,
the amazing power of YOU.

If all you ever do is live by what is in front of you,
 reacting to the life in front of you,
 you will never move beyond the life that is in front of you.

You have to be able to see outside of your current situation.
 You must be able to acknowledge where you are in life – but KNOW you are capable of creating so much more.

Know, that where you are right now IS NOT YOUR LIFE.

You are where you are right now because of your past decisions and your past beliefs.

 NOW, it’s time to sum up the COURAGE TO ASK FOR BETTER. To believe in better. To believe magic is on the way.

NOW… It’s time to get what you deserve.

In life we don’t get what we ask for,
we get what we ask for AND work for.

Nothing in life will work without the work!
No books.
No seminars.
No audio tapes.
No gurus.
Nothing!

Nothing will work if you don’t.

 But I’m not talking about doing work you hate.
 There’s no need for that. When you do work you love, it’s not work,
 you do need to do something – but you do it because you LOVE doing it, not because you have to… and that’s where the magic is created.

You add value to others by doing what you want to do,
and you get rewarded.

What you want is not going to come to you by just dreaming about it.

When you get in your car to go somewhere, you would never expect to arrive at the destination by just closing your eyes and dreaming about it.
You know you can’t get there instantly.

You must know where you’re going, 
but you also understand that right now you are here,
 and in order to get to your destination there is going to be a journey. 

There might be roadblocks, detours, stop signs, even breakdowns, but if you really must get to that destination you can and will find a way. You would never stop half way and turn around because of a detour, a setback or an obstacle. You just take whatever path leads to your destination,
 even if it wasn’t the path you planned on taking, 
even if it wasn’t the easiest path.

Life is no different. If you want something.. ANYTHING in your life you first must know where you are,
and then you must know what it is going to take to get there. You make a commitment that NO MATTER what happens,
I will reach that destination!

If I have to go the long way – I’ll go the long way! If I have to learn a new way – I’ll learn a new way! If there are detours, roadblocks or break downs – I will keep going, fix the issue, get patched up, but I will NEVER QUIT.

If you just KNOW… If you just BELIEVE you will get there and you have the COURAGE to see it through, there’s nothing you can’t have, no where you can’t go and NO ONE you can’t become.

Muhammad Ali said: “The man who has no imagination has no wings.” If you can’t envision it, if you can’t believe it, you will never see it, you will never be it.

You see, if you want to live an average life that is fine, keep your feet on the ground, but if you want to soar, if you want to achieve great things, you must not only think those crazy thoughts but feel it. Feel what it would feel like to be doing that thing you want to do, feel what it feels like to have all the things you want, 
to be the person that has achieved the things you want to achieve.

The very process of you feeling like you already have it will send vibrational signals to your brain, and if you are willing to work for it, it will be in your life very soon.

Albert Einstein once said: “Your imagination is everything. 
It is the preview of life’s coming attractions”…

Only those who believe anything is possible, can achieve the things most would consider impossible.

You must know WHO you are going to be,
 before you become that person.

 You must picture what you want to achieve
and FEEL like you already have it, 
before you can bring it into your reality.

In the greatest book of all time, Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill states: “Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” 

He says: “You are the master of your destiny. You can influence, direct and control your own environment. You can make your life what you want it to be.”

It’s not a magic trick. 
It’s not a new philosophy. 
Most of you know about it, and if you don’t you should start paying attention, because just about anyone who is GREAT knows about it.

Robin Sharma said: “Everything is created twice…
First in the mind
and then in reality.” There is an energy and power far greater than we can comprehend at play, and we can either use it, live in harmony with it, create with it, or run in fear from it.

You can’t FOCUS on where you are and get where you want to be.

If you want to change your life in a dramatic way, you need to get your mind off all your problems,
release your mind from all limitations and FOCUS on the outcome you want in your life.

Think exactly where you want to be.
A very detailed list of all the things you want. Then, write down WHAT IT IS GOING TO TAKE to get there. What do you need to do? What do you need to learn?
Who do you need to connect with to get there?

Do NOT focus on your limitations, the things that are holding you back. 

If you’ve got a money problem – focus on how you can get the money you need, not on your lack of money.

If you have a health problem. Don’t focus on the pain. FOCUS on exactly what you need to do to be where you must be.

What CAN you do?

What MUST you do?

 Do that.

The dedication to work on your dream, even when things aren’t going your way.
Dedication to take responsibility and work on your weaknesses.

The dedication to put all the insignificant things in your life to the background while you work tirelessly on your one big goal, your one big dream.!

So that’s all…
That’s all it takes to be great. 
No big deal.
Just a million things. 
Just a lifetime commitment…

There is an African proverb that reads:
“When there is no enemy within, the enemy outside can do you no harm.”

When you refuse to allow any doubts in your own mind, then no doubts from others will ever cloud your judgement.

When you create a strong mind,
 there can be no other that will defeat you with their words, or with their judgements.
When YOU believe in you,
you need no other to believe in you.
Because others, really have no say in who you will become.
 Only you have that say.
 Only you can DECIDE if others opinions become reality, or you create your own fate.

The greatest challenge and the greatest obstacle any human will face is their own doubts, their own fears and their own conditioned thoughts.
If you want to live your dream, you will have to fight for it.
 You will have to fight the greatest battles of your life.

You will have to battle the external enemy
:
People who don’t believe in you.
 People who do you wrong.
 People who put you down.

You will have to battle the intimate enemy. 
Those close to you who might do you wrong,
or maybe you assume don’t believe in you.

 Those who want the best for you, but their idea of support is to remind you of what can’t be done, or shouldn’t be attempted.
..

But the worst of all is the INTERNAL ENEMY. 
You will have to battle what seems like an army in your own head. 
An army of doubt, fear of failure, fear of judgement, lack of belief. 

The voices inside the head
 saying:
I am not good enough
I’m not worthy
I want to do this, but I can’t
I want to give to those I love, but I can’t
I’m not worthy of love.
I’ll never be able to do this.
I am hopeless
I’ve tried everything!
The world is against me.
No one believes in me.
My life’s not worth living.

There is no greater pain that can be inflicted on you,
than your own internal enemy.
Your own thoughts will cause you more pain than anyone or anything.

 They can be likened to a terrorist living in your soul…

But, when you learn to control and direct your mind, you can direct that internal voice to work for you, rather than against you.

You get it to work for you by creating a compelling future. 
A future you will be proud to achieve, proud to live through.

You do this by not by just having GOALS, but having meaningful GOALS. 
GOALS that get you excited to wake up every morning.

You do this be understanding what your purpose in life really is.
 What are you doing it all for?

When you know these things, when you work on yourself DAILY, you can quiet that voice in the head.

 You can FEEL good enough because you ARE good enough.
But it does take a commitment.
 A commitment of daily practice to work on yourself.

Cut out something that you spend a lot of time on that does nothing good for your life, and replace it with daily work on YOU.
EMPOWER YOURSELF.
Set your life up to win.

Even if you don’t see the results right away
 Keep showing up until you do see the results. Even if you don’t see the results for a very, very long time… KEEP SHOWING UP!

What if the results don’t come? They’re not going to come if you quit.
 KEEP SHOWING UP!

I’m tired… KEEP SHOWING UP!
I don’t feel like it… KEEP SHOWING UP!
I can’t see any results… KEEP SHOWING UP!

“I don’t know where to start”… JUST START! DO SOMETHING! Take that first step. Every step you take adds up and sooner or later, you’ll look back and see you’re at the top of the staircase.

It doesn’t matter if you can’t see the top from where you are. Just know that if you keep climbing… If you keep learning HOW you can get to that next level… you will soon be exactly where you need to be.

If you quit… If you never start climbing… If you never take that first step… You’ll never get there… and you’ll forever live in regret.

People don’t make it because they quit.
 FULL STOP.
They say they tried “everything”
…
Sure they tried everything…
 They tried everything but STICKING IT OUT!
They tried everything but COURAGE to keep going.
They tried everything but SHOWING HEART when things got hard.

They DID TRY QUITTING… 
Winners DO NOT QUIT
! They show up.
 Rain hail or shine.
 They show up
when it works, when it’s hard.
 They show up every single damn time! And that…
that right there is the difference. 
Keep showing up.
