Struggle makes you STRONGER. You might not like it in the moment. You don’t have to. PUSH THROUGH IT.

Meaningful goals lead to clear plans. Clear plans lead to massive action.
 Massive action leads to greater results. 
That is why you must START with CLEAR, meaningful goals.

The first step in getting anywhere you want to go is to KNOW WHERE YOU ARE GOING.

 If you don’t know where you are going, the chances of getting where you WANT are not very good.

So first ask yourself what you really want from your life. What do you want within the next 5-10 years?

 Write down a clear description of the person you would be, the people who would be in your life, the health and fitness you would have, the wealth and abundance – everything you want in great detail.



Once you have that you might want to ask yourself WHY. 

WHY do you want this life? 
WHY MUST YOU HAVE IT?

There’s a famous quote by Nietzsche that says “He who has a WHY to live for can bear almost any HOW.” This means that with a “WHY”… with a deep and meaningful purpose, ANYONE can overcome almost any “HOW”… almost anything life throws in our path.

This is important, because simply being human we KNOW that life will throw many obstacles in our path. 

LIFE IS HARD.



Without a strong REASON WHY most people will turn around, give up… most people will quit.


 But with a strong meaning, a purpose GREATER than ourselves and our own benefit… we will fight for longer, work harder and endure just about anything.



Think of the mother who finds the strength to lift a car when her child is trapped under. Without the reason WHY she would never be capable of such an unbelievable feat.

Think of the million stories of people who refused to give up and WON against all odds – it is because their WHY was greater than the demon in front of them.

WHY MUST you change? 

WHY MUST YOU improve?

 WHO BENEFITS from the new you?

 HOW does that make you feel?


So we start with MEANING. 

Meaningful goals. 

Then come clear PLANS… because without a plan of action, there is no action.

How do you get from where you are NOW to where you want to be? 

Has anyone done something similar before?

 How did they do it ?

How can you do it BETTER? 

How can you do it YOUR WAY?

 Where did others fail, and what can you learn from that?

After the plan comes ACTION.

 This part is up to you and never anyone but you.

 It’s not just showing up every day, it’s showing up with INTENTION and purpose.

Setbacks will come. Challenges will arrive out of the blue.

Setbacks are inevitable… but they’re also only temporary. Keep going.



You can never fail, unless you quit – so you NEVER QUIT.

You become relentless.

You find a way, find a solution, work harder, work longer, change direction – whatever needs to be done, that is what you commit to do.

Let it go. All the bulls**t reasons why you can’t have the life you want. Make a plan. Dedicate yourself to the plan. Earn the life you want.

If your goals are easy to achieve they are NOT BIG ENOUGH.
 Set bigger goals!
 Goals that EXCITE you and scare you at the same time!

If it is important to you, you will make it happen! If it’s not, you will find an excuse! HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT?

Step one:
 You figure out your WHY.
 The reason you MUST!

Step 2:
 You create a TARGET.
 A meaningful GOAL to work towards.
 Something that will challenge you. Something that will force you to GROW.
 Something you LOVE DOING.

Step 3:
 You work, and work some more.
 You never stop working, on your mission, and more importantly on your own SELF-GROWTH.

And then, eventually, one day you look back and realize that you have achieved MORE than you ever hoped for yourself.

 You realize that you have grown into a different person, someone with higher standards and greater goals… and it never ends. 

It never ends in a good way, because you are always chasing your potential, and because you are always improving – your potential is always that little bit ahead of you.

 You are always one mountain away, and you are always WILLING and able to climb one more mountain.

Most people won’t ever end up where they want to be, because they never define where that place is. They drift through life with no direction, then wonder why they are in the middle of nowhere. Don’t be like that. You know better than that.

Be like the very few who know where they are going in life. 

The very few who have a DESIRE to improve every area. Willing to WORK on every area. EXCITED at the possibilities. LOOKING FORWARD to each next level in your life!

Rest in peace…
 all the opportunities missed because you chose to go out and party instead of stay in and study.

 the person you could have been… but never reached, because you refused to put in the work.


Rest in peace…
 the life that could have been yours… but wasn’t, because you lacked BELIEF… and cared more about the potential FAILURE than the possibility of SUCCESS.

It’s sad. So sad. But this is the REALITY for most people.
 Most people let their DREAMS DIE.


Most people would rather live a life of misery and regret than take a RISK pushing for what they REALLY WANT.

Most people settle… in every area of their life.
 They settle in their relationships. They settle for an OK body. OK health. They settle for an income that’s just enough to get by. They settle for a quality of life that is only just passable enough to sleep at night… not so bad that they have to do something about it… but not even close to the life they deserve AND ARE CAPABLE of living.


This life is short! None of us are going to make it out of here alive. YOU. ME. Everyone we love. We’re all going to leave this earth one day.
 We’ve got one shot at it. ONE SHOT.

For many of us, that time is flying by.

Why not MAKE THE MOST of our one shot?
Why not put in that little more effort?
WHY NOT dream just a little BIGGER.
WHY NOT spend more time asking yourself WHAT YOU REALLY WANT in 1, 5, 10, 20 years time?


WHY NOT spend more time working on yourself, and less time trying to ESCAPE from a life you don’t want!

WHY NOT WALK AWAY from everything that is rotten in your life… and start planting NEW SEEDS that can GROW into something better in time.


You deserve more… but you can only GET MORE if you are willing to DO MORE.
MORE planning.
MORE SELF WORK.
More SACRIFICE.
MORE calculated risks.
MORE dreaming.
MORE learning.
MORE BELIEVING.
MORE of everything that takes you in the direction you want to travel, and LESS of everything that is pulling you in the opposite direction.

Push for your TRUE POTENTIAL. And when you get to the end, you’ll be proud, proud of the person you became while searching and stretching for the greatest version of yourself.

There’s a famous story about frogs and boiling water I have to share with you, because I think it is relevant to ALL OF US.
As the story goes, if you place a frog in a pot of boiling water, it will immediately jump out to save its life… but, if you put the same frog in a pot of room-temperature water and slowly heat it up, the frog will remain in the pot… even when the water starts BOILING. The frog will stay there and ultimately boil to death.

Now, you may be thinking that frogs are stupid… but don’t we all do that to some degree?
You spend too long in a relationship, in a business, in a job, in a friendship…. At the start it was good… then slowly over time it started dying. You should have jumped out or made changes a long time ago… now you’re dying inside like the frog.
Too often we get stuck in our comfortable lives… it becomes so comfortable and so familiar that, even though we may be miserable, we stay, because at least the misery is familiar… Taking that risk to CHANGE or GROW or LEAVE is UNKNOWN… and if there’s one thing most humans can’t face it is the UNKNOWN…

But, let me ask you:
Do you want to be like that frog in the pot, slowly boiling to death? Or would you rather be like the MINORITY? Jump out of that POT and go searching for a life that will CHALLENGE you and force you to GROW into a person you can be proud of.

I challenge you to be the latter. Don’t wait for someone else to turn down the heat for you. There’s no-one else in control of the temperature of your life.

Take control of your own life and be brave enough to make those positive changes. Embrace every challenge you face and seek out new opportunities for growth and development.

Progress requires discomfort. Don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new. It will be uncomfortable at first, but that discomfort is a sign of PENDING PROGRESS.

If you want to be a BETTER version of yourself you must PUSH YOURSELF to grow. You must make some tough decisions and TRUST your gut that everything will work out in the end.

So, don’t be that frog. Don’t be someone who stays somewhere that is killing them inside. Don’t be like most people, who let their DREAMS and ASPIRATIONS DIE far too early. Don’t live with that dirty word: REGRET.

There is no greater pain than that of regret.

Nothing can kill your soul more than the feeling of regret. Never be afraid to take a risk in life. Never be afraid to take a risk going after what YOU really want.

You may fail, you will most likely fail often. 
 But failure going after your dreams is NOTHING compared to the failure that is settling for a life you don’t want.

It’s never too late to try again! It’s never too late to DECIDE you want more out of life. It’s NEVER TOO LATE!

It’s never too late to commit to make this day, THIS VERY DAY, the BEST of your life! To create opportunities for yourself. To be positive. To RISE above average thoughts.

It’s NEVER TOO LATE to re invent yourself.
 To learn something new. To grow. To feel good again.

No matter what has happened or failed to happen in your past: IT IS NEVER TOO LATE. 
 But only if you are committed. Only if YOU want to change. Do you want to change? Do you want more out of life?

You wouldn’t be the first person on earth to turn everything around. It is NOT impossible. All it takes is your commitment, your COURAGE and your DESIRE to be better.

Most people don’t change because they lack courage… because they FEAR the unknown. They FEAR failure. YOU are DIFFERENT. YOU have the courage. 
 The courage to try.

Don’t fear failure. FEAR being in the exactly same place next year as you are today.

IT’S TIME! TODAY is the day! The first day of the rest of your life! Make that commitment.

There’s only one thing keeping you from WHERE YOU ARE and WHERE YOU WANT TO BE.

There’s only EVER one thing keeping ANYONE from where they ARE in life and the LIFE THEY REALLY WANT.

 That thing, is called your STANDARDS.

If you don’t like where you are:
 RAISE YOUR STANDARDS.
If you’re not happy with your income: RAISE YOUR STANDARDS.
If you’re not happy with your relationships: RAISE YOUR STANDARDS.
If you don’t like your body: 
RAISE YOUR STANDARDS!

What’s the main difference between the people who are in good shape and the people who are not? STANDARDS.



Most of us have access to the same information. Most of us know HOW to get in shape. But most of us ARE NOT in good shape. Why? 
STANDARDS.

Very few of us have high standards when it comes to nutrition and exercise.

The main difference between the person earning millions and the one who is broke: STANDARDS!

The main difference between the happy and the sad… The joyful and the depressed? STANDARDS.

Standards define everything. 

Wherever you are in life, in every area, is a result of your standards in that area.


What are you willing to ACCEPT?

In the dictionary ‘standards’ are defined as: “a level of quality or attainment’. 

Meaning: whatever LEVEL of QUALITY you demand from your life is what you will GET IN YOUR LIFE!

Whatever you place IMPORTANCE on… Whatever you make a PRIORITY in your life…you will make STRONGER in your life!

What is your priority right now?

For most people there is only one priority – getting through the day. So that’s what they do.  They ONLY get through the day.

For those who have high standards for their physical health – they prioritize exercise and healthy eating – so that’s what they do… and in time you can see the rewards of that.



Some people are happy with minimum wage… some people won’t get out of bed for less than $200,000 a year… and some people won’t do anything, for any amount of money unless that work is meaningful to them.
 STANDARDS.

What level of financial success do you accept?

It has been said that a strong person isn’t strong from a strong attitude, but from strong STANDARDS.

The standards you set can make YOU STRONGER or WEAKER. 

LOW QUALITY STANDARDS = A LOW QUALITY LIFE. 

IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT?



RAISE YOUR STANDARDS!

If you don’t have high standards you will eat the donut, you will hit snooze on the alarm, you’ll say yes to the night out drinking… and you’ll pay for all of that later.

WHEN YOU HAVE HIGH STANDARDS you don’t have a problem saying NO!



WHEN YOU HAVE HIGH STANDARDS you don’t need to fit in with the crowd. You are focused on ONE THING, and that is your GOAL.
 Nothing will break your focus.
 Nothing will distract you from your goal.

No shiny objects will take your attention away from what is important to you.

Never apologise for having high standards. 
DO NOT LOWER your standards for anyone.
 You must respect yourself enough to stand for what you want in life. In every area.

If you don’t like where you are: 
RAISE YOUR STANDARDS.
If you’re not happy with your income: RAISE YOUR STANDARDS.
If you’re not happy with your relationships: RAISE YOUR STANDARDS.
If you don’t like your body: 
RAISE YOUR STANDARDS!

Why do most people adopt low standards in their life? 

Well, what happens when you raise your standards and no longer accept the quality of life of your peer group?
 You start losing friends real quick.

 Because most people are comfortable living a LOW STANDARD KIND OF LIFE.

It’s EASY living without standards. Life is much harder when you DEMAND more of yourself.



Most people don’t want to take the risk going after a better life. 
‘What if I fail?’
 Well, the only real failure is accepting a life LESS than that you are truly capable of.

If you are CONTENT with life as it is, congratulations. I admire and respect you.

 But, if you want MORE… if you want to see who you can truly be in life… how much you can really DO… how many people you can truly IMPACT… you must DEMAND MORE OF YOURSELF…



You MUST RAISE YOUR STANDARDS.
 You must set BIGGER GOALS. 
You MUST FOCUS. 
You must set your MIND, EVERY SINGLE DAY on something so powerful, so meaningful to you that you would rather DIE than see it unfulfilled.

RAISE YOUR STANDARDS!

You have to get to the point where you’ve had enough!
You have to say I AM SICK OF THIS!
I’m tired of being average!!!
I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired!!!
I’ve had enough of struggling!
I’m done with depression!
I’m finished with unhappiness
!

I AM DONE with everything that is less than the greatness I DESERVE!

You have to get ANGRY about your situation!
It’s only when you get to that point that you can move forward with your life!

If you’re OK with your average life, you’ll never have more than an average life!

GET MAD! 
GET MAD EVERY TIME YOU SLIP UP, SO YOU GET RIGHT BACK ON TRACK!

RAISE THE BAR so HIGH that no-one understands you. HAVE STANDARDS SO UNBREAKABLE they all think you are INSANE.

And then wait for them to ASK HOW YOU DID IT. Because you are going to do it!

If you keep raising your standards…
If you keep raising the bar in your life… If you continue to EXPECT MORE OF YOURSELF…
AND PUT IN THE WORK TO ATTAIN IT… It’s only a matter of time.
 You will get it.
