LYRICS: God Got Me – Fearless Motivation

All the hell I survived: I know God Got me

Walked through the fire thriving: I know God Got Me
Came out the smoke, heavenly scars on my body
Still standing tall, nothing can stop me

I’ve had death at the door, force it’s way in
And at the same time had the walls closing in

Had the odds against me still I walked out with the win
They counted me out… God counted me in
I learned faith ain’t faith if it’s always easy
It’s still believing when reality is disagreeing

When you’re down to nothing but still keep on reaching
Friends and family have but he’ll never leave me
A thousand times I fell and still bounced back
Held the weight of the world and still didn’t collapse
Every time I reached the edge something pulled me back
I know the Lord’s got my back

Through every loss
Through every scar

I know who
 took me this far

I walked through hell, the fire never burned me

God walks with me, so so they can’t hurt me
They can be against me, they won’t stop me
God got me, I know God got me

Through every loss
Through every scar
I know who
 took me this far

I walked through hell, the fire never burned me
God walks with me, so so they can’t hurt me
They can be against me, they won’t stop me
God got me, I know God got me

I might be surrounded but I’m not outnumbered
Me against an empire and I won’t crumble
They count bodies, I count who stands above us
How you think I took on the 300?

The world doubting me, saying my dreams are worthless
They always judge to early when things weren’t working
You can shut down doors but can’t shut down purpose
This is God’s plan, you can’t edit the verses

Now… I’ve never had an easy road (No)
But I pray for strength, not an easy life
And yeah, I wondered why I kept getting buried alive
I wasn’t being buried, I was learning to rise

I had to trust I’d find the light when I was in the dark
You’ll never get lost if you follow your heart
So bring the pain, bring the trials, bring on any army
I’ve got heaven behind me, who the hell can stop me?

Through every loss
Through every scar
I know who
 took me this far

I walked through hell, the fire never burned me
God walks with me, so so they can’t hurt me
They can be against me, they won’t stop me
God got me, I know God got me

Through every loss
Through every scar
I know who
 took me this far

I walked through hell, the fire never burned me
God walks with me, so so they can’t hurt me
They can be against me, they won’t stop me
God got me, I know God got me
