In today’s world of over stimulation, seemingly unlimited distractions, and short attention spans, it’s no wonder there are so many people who don’t succeed.

It’s no wonder so many people never achieve anything significant.

It’s no wonder so many people never reach their true potential. 

If you want to achieve anything GREAT you must shut out ALL distractions.

Successful people are FOCUSED people.

Successful people can go into a space where they shut out EVERYTHING… Where they lock in on the task in front of them.

LOCK IN on their goal.

 LOCK IN on their dream.

If it is important enough to you…
You will shut out all distractions
SHUT THE DOOR.
TURN YOUR PHONE OFF.
TURN OFF SOCIAL MEDIA.
Lock in. Focus. And get the job done!

A recent study pointed out that the average adult spends around 1 hour and 40 minutes EVERY DAY on social media!

That is nearly 12 hours per week!

Over 50 hours per month, 616 hours per year…
it adds up to 128 days over a period of 5 years.



 128 days WASTED every 5 years.

Imagine if you used that time better.

Just imagine if you replaced that wasted time with completely FOCUSED time… working on something you LOVE.

The person you will be in 5 years time will be VERY different depending on which path you choose to take.

Those who don’t succeed, let’s call them… I don’t know… the majority… They are like a puppy with a bone…

Anytime a bone comes along… social media likes or comments… a text message… a TV show… an opportunity at another night out… any attention or meaningless distraction… they drop everything important to them, and chase bone.

They could be sitting on a million dollar idea, something that could change their life completely, but as soon as that bone comes along they follow it. 

Day in day out. Meaningless distractions tearing people away from a life they deserve.

Meanwhile they are left feeling empty inside because they haven’t fed their soul with the pride that comes from SELF-GROWTH

Growth from shutting out the world and going all in on their dream. 

GROWTH from FINDING A WAY when there seems no way.

 GROWTH that comes when you go beyond the life you thought you were capable of.

Every time you choose something over your goal, you form a bad habit, a habit that gets stronger, and eventually overpowers your goal. It defeats your dream. 

Form a different habit.

 

A habit of discipline. Discipline from shutting out what most won’t so you have the things most don’t.

A habit of going ALL IN. 

A habit of INTEGRITY. When you say your goal matters to you, SHOW THAT IT MATTERS! Make it a priority!

If you want to achieve great things – Shut out the distractions of this world, and make your goal A PRIORITY.



Steve Jobs once said:

“People think focus means saying YES to the thing you’ve got to focus on… But that’s not what it means at all. It means saying no to the hundred other good ideas that there are. You have to pick carefully. I’m actually as proud of the things we haven’t done as the things I have done.”



You have to be able to shut out everything but the MOST IMPORTANT thing that you must do right now. GET IT DONE with 100% of your presence and attention. GIVE IT EVERYTHING you have, your heart and your soul, that will ensure your best work, and will lead to your next best result.

Zig Ziglar said:

“Lack of direction, not lack of time, is the problem. We all have twenty-four hour days.”

Now, that’s the truth, if I have ever heard it!

 We all have 24 hours in a day. How you spend that time will determine where you end up in life.
How you spend your 24 hours will determine if you live with PRIDE or REGRET. 

How you spend your 24 hours will determine if you SURVIVE or your THRIVE.

Now it’s time to FOCUS! 
LOCK OUT the things you don’t need.
 LOCK IN on the life you must have! Prepare to suffer now so you can enjoy later.

Success can be a lonely road. 

It can be a tough road. It can be a hard road.

It’s certainly not for everyone… Those who follow others like sheep will never know who they truly are. Only those who follow their own path can discover the truth of their own potential.

Those who fly alone have the strongest wings.

Those who walk alone have the strongest direction.


The rest will always be IN NEED of others for their survival.
They will always need attention.
Need recognition.
To survive.

I am at peace alone. Needing no attention. No recognition. And still I thrive.

I am not saying those who have support are weak. I am not saying you must go it alone to gain strength. This is just for those that have fought battles alone, those who have felt like they don’t fit it, those who have never had support, in anything they do.

All of those who feel no one believes in them… You don’t need them to believe in you if YOU believe in you.

 You don’t need their support if you’ve got your own back.

The best part is, when you truly live the life you want to live… 
When you speak your truth… When you embrace who you are… Then you gain real respect, and real love. 


People love those who have the GUTS to be themselves. Those who have the courage to follow their heart.
 Why? It’s RARE. 
Why? Because most people wish they could do the same.

 Show them the way.

 KEEP GOING. 
BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.



It will all come good in the end, and when it does, you won’t have only inspired yourself to be more, you will have inspired so many others.






I had to learn to fight alone 
and because of that I am strong alone
.

I am strong. Full stop.

I developed inner strength 
that can’t be broken. 
I am unbreakable.

Because of the pain, 
I am strong.

 Because of the struggle
 I have character most will never know.



I appreciate others more than ever. 
I have more compassion than ever.

I had to go deep into the darkness… 
Now I have more depth
. Now I can see clearer.


I had to face huge internal challenges
… Now I can face any challenge. 
I will destroy every challenge.



I am proud of who I have become. 
I am proud I have OVERCOME. 
I am proud I KEPT GOING! 
I am proud of WHO I AM. 
Who I’ve BECOME. 

I am proud I stayed true to myself.

Yes, you heard that right, you make 35,000 choices on average, every single day. 

Many of these decisions are conscious and some are unconscious or automated based on your conditioning and habits formed over your entire life span.

These decisions can vary from meaningless choices,
 like which socks to wear in the morning,
 to life changing choices… like entering a relationship, leaving a relationship,
 starting a business,
 or MAKING A DECISION to commit to something that you know will change everything for you.

35,000 choices every single day.
 35,000 times you can decide to make your future better than your past. 
35,000 times you get to set the standard for your life.



It’s the choices we make every day that determine who we will become, and HOW we live.



George Bernard Shaw once said:


“Life isn’t about finding yourself, life is about CREATING yourself”



You create your life by the choices you make every single day. 

The difference between a GREAT life, and a mediocre one, is based on how many choices you make every day that are DELIBERATE…

How many choices do you make every day that are BRAVE?

How many are taking you in the direction of the life you want?



What if you every decision you made was powerful?

 What if you were CONSCIOUS of your decision making more often?

 Can you imagine what a different life you would have in 1,5,10 years time? If EVERY DECISION you made was on purpose?

What HAPPENS does not control my life. 
What I DECIDE to do with what happens controls my life. 
MY CHOICES control my life. 
MY DECISIONS! 
MY ACTIONS!



I DECIDE if I will pick up the phone and make that call. 
I DECIDE if I won’t.
 I must face the consequences of both decisions. 

I DECIDE if I’ll commit to my diet. 
I DECIDE if I won’t. 
I must face the consequences of both decisions.

I DECIDE if I will quit at the first sign of struggle, 
but I ALSO DECIDE IF I WON’T! 
I DECIDE if I will REFUSE TO SETTLE.

DECIDE to say NO! 
NEVER AGAIN will I accept this life.

I AM MORE THAN THIS! 
I DESERVE MORE!

 That is a decision.
 DECLARING I AM MORE is a decision! 
It is me deciding that I CONTROL my life! 

I DO CONTROL MY LIFE! 

I COMMIT to becoming the greatest version of myself!
 I CHOOSE to be more! 
I CHOOSE to live a BIG LIFE… 
Not hide in the shadows.
 NOT blend in with the background.
 I CHOOSE MY LIFE TO BE MORE!

Think about the compound effect of money.
 If you invest money into a high-interest return account, over time, you receive compound interest, that is, interest on top of your interest. 

This process is also true for the choices you make every day.

 Good choices and bad choices. 

We all know how quickly life can spiral out of control if we make many bad decisions. 
A bad relationship, a bad investment, a bad choice of people to associate with.

But this is also the case with GOOD CHOICES. If you are conscious and making powerful decisions every day, those choices lead to better opportunities, better results, and they compound on each other to bring you a better life. 

It really can be that basic.
 It can be that simple. 

It’s not easy.



It takes character that most don’t have, to live a life most will never know.

I believe you all have that character… but it is up to you if you will USE that character to change your life. To create the best version of yourself.

DECIDE today to make better use of your 35,000 choices. 
DECIDE to say NO!
 No to average! 
NO to playing small!

 DECIDE you are more than what you have given the world so far, and COMMIT to get some compound growth in your life. 

You deserve that.

Everyone makes mistakes. All of us have made many mistakes throughout our lives.

 Many small mistakes, and some big mistakes.

We’ve all let others down, and even worse… we’ve all let ourselves down at some point. 

Doing something you know you shouldn’t have:
Acting in a way below your standards.
 Failing. Making mistakes. Not giving your all.

What happens after moments like this can mean the difference between you living a life you can’t stand… and you living a life you love.

Because what happens after these moments goes like this:
The majority give up, cave in and suffer because of it.

The minority hold themselves accountable – they acknowledge their mistakes, but they don’t let them become a virus that spreads throughout the rest of their life.

They KNOW that their story will contain some ups and some downs… and they aren’t about to throw in the whole book because of one bad page.

They do not let that one page turn into a chapter!

They NEVER let one page turn into the story of their life!

But that is what most people do.

 They let one argument ruin their day. They let one bad day ruin their week. They let one mistake define their life!

MOVE ON!

 One mistake is NOT your entire life! One page does not define your book!

Screw what has happened before. You do not have to suffer from it for the rest of your life.

Throw away who you THOUGHT you were. WHO YOU ARE is so much bigger.

What you are capable of is so much more. But you’ll never get to that so much more unless you TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for your results.

ALL RESULTS. Not just the results you want to claim. Not just the results you want to see.

Many have said before that you are the author of your own life’s story…

There’s the you of the past… AND NOW…
There’s you OF YOUR FUTURE.

YOU, who gets to DECIDE what will be written in the next chapter of your book.

Having a cry isn’t holding yourself accountable.

 DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT is holding yourself accountable!

Saying your going to do something doesn’t count. ONLY DOING something about it counts!

It’s not good enough to acknowledge your mistakes. YOU MUST DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!

Holding yourself accountable doesn’t mean others will never do you wrong.

 It doesn’t mean everything is your fault.

 It means, WHATEVER HAPPENS… you are going to make it work!

WHATEVER HAPPENS… you are going to WIN!

 WHATEVER HAPPENS… nothing will stop you!

Be one of the few who are STRONG ENOUGH to tell the world: I was not good enough… 
but I soon will be!

They might say you’re weird. Strange. Not normal. An outcast. They might say you don’t fit in.

You might even feel like one or all of those things… And if you do… Good!

Do you really want to be like the rest? Like the majority of human beings who act like sheep.

Sheep who fall into line. Sheep who conform to the expectations of society and therefor will always be limited in their thinking and RESULTS, like all of those they surround themselves with.

Do you really want to be like the sheep who believe in limitations?

Like the sheep who follow the path they are told to follow, when walking their own, while hard, would have lead to their true purpose in life.

Do you want to be like the sheep who play a role in order to satisfy other people’s expectations, meanwhile their own dreams slowly die with them.

I don’t know about you, but if the price I have to pay for following my own purpose is to be labeled weird … I will take weird.

I’ll take weird over average.
I’ll take weird over ordinary.
I’ll take weird over settling for a life less than my potential.

They’ll call you weird now, but later they will ask you how you did it.

They’ll say you don’t fit in now, but later they’ll want to fit in with you.

They might look down on you now, but later they’ll look up to you…
… For you had the courage they lacked, the courage to speak your truth. The courage to follow your path… even when it was unpopular.

What is rare on this earth is a great human being who was considered normal in the beginning. All the greatest minds were considered crazy, weird, unpopular at some stage…

but you know what?… They kept following that path. Even when it was dark. Even when there was no one walking beside them. Even when they couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. They kept walking… They kept following their truth… And that is why they are now admired by the world. The world that once couldn’t understand them, so gave them a label… weird, crazy.

You, weird one… You crazy one… You who doesn’t fit in…
Keep following that path.
One day it will all make sense… one day it will pay off.

You have to understand something… There is ALWAYS another level.

You may have achieved a lot in your life. You may be at the very top in one or more areas of your life.
 But you will NOT stay at the top unless you are HUNGRY to grow… HUNGRY to improve. HUNGRY to reach the next level…
 even if you have to build that level yourself.

You may be achieving more than anyone around you… But maybe the standard of people around you needs to improve… Maybe they are making you complacent.

If you keep doing what you’ve always been doing… You’ll keep getting what you’ve always gotten.


You deserve more out of this life – but you’ll NEVER get more unless you are willing to DO MORE and do it differently to the majority.

Don’t live your life like the rest. Study the very few at the very top.

 Have the courage to STAND FOR WHAT YOU WANT in life – no matter what they say.

Have the courage to travel your own path. However dark it may be – at some point there will be light… if you keep going.

You must set the standard. You decide what level the bar will be raised to.

That’s the difference between the majority and the few.
The few are ALWAYS HUNGRY to grow.
They are obsessed with raising the bar.
Obsessed with setting the standard.
Not to out do others… to out do who they were yesterday.

The few are the world champions.
The winners. The leaders.
Those who are remembered long after they’re gone.
Those who did what others thought impossible.

They weren’t superhuman…
But they possessed a superhuman mentality.
They didn’t conform.
They didn’t fall in line.
They didn’t believe in opinions that weren’t their own.
They didn’t get sidetrackED by things that were not important to their goals and dreams.
They set the standard… and when they reached their goal… they then set a bigger goal – a higher standard.

Every NEXT LEVEL of your life is going to require a NEXT LEVEL YOU, next level mindset, next level courage, next level mental strength.

This life is short and REGRETS are not a part of WHO I AM.

I WILL ACHIEVE MY HIGHEST POTENTIAL
I WILL PUSH FOR THAT NEXT LEVEL
I WILL NEVER STOP!!

I BELIEVE I DESERVE MORE
AND I KNOW I WILL GET MORE.

I set the standard!
I raise the standard and I then raise my results!

I decide what is possible for me!

No one defines me!
My work ethic is higher!
My expectations are greater!
So my results are greater!

I am hungry!
Hungry for that next level!
Hungry for growth!

I’ve come far…
But I can go further!
I WILL GO FURTHER!

They haven’t seen nothing yet!
I haven’t even warmed up!

This month is mine!
This YEAR IS MINE!
This decade is mine!

This life is my creation
And I decide how far I will go!

I am ready for that next level
And I will not stop !
Are you HUNGRY?
Are you HUNGRY FOR GROWTH?

You must be willing to go all out if you want to change your life!

As humans, we are only happy when we are GROWING.
I don’t care what area we are talking. You MUST BE GROWING.
I don’t care how successful you are – you must always be reaching for YOUR NEXT LEVEL – whatever that is. PUSH FOR IT.

GET UNCOMFORTABLE.

Some people are content.
That’s great. I am happy for them.
But I will never be content with ordinary…
I respect everyone’s path… but I always felt my life would be more than ordinary…
More than EXTRAORDINARY.
something more like OUTSTANDING
Something most would consider impossible.
