LYRICS – I AM THE EXAMPLE (Official Music Video) Fearless Motivation
I AM THE EXAMPLE. That’s my INTENTION.
The choices I make… each and every day… they are not just for me… they are for everyone around me. I am the example to everyone I touch, and the compound effect of those people.
My example has a flow on effect to everyone around me… and I do not take that responsibility lightly.
I was born a leader
I was born to lead
I set the example
I weren’t born to leach
I’m the mountain that grew from that mustard seed
I’m the one that has shown that we all can succeed
From day one I knew the top was for me
From day one I swore that I would never be bottom feed
From early on I had the key
While they were working for the man
I was working on me
It never happened over night
I studied the greats
I started small then raised the stakes
So many years
years of mistakes
I strived to be the best
whatever it takes
I was relentless…. I never took a break
or a day off. and then it all paid off
Going the extra mile is normal for me
Instead of doing one I always did the extra 3
I am the example
I set the trends
Not by what I say
But through my actions
I’m the example of strength
The example of health
The example of peace
The example is me
I am the example
The start and the end
Not by what I say
But through my actions
The example of discipline
And consistency
The example to lead
The example is me
I am the example!
It’s easy to talk the talk
Hard to walk the walk
Harder to walk and talk and be the source of support
The one paving the way that has never been walked
Out there in the trenches making the tough calls
Point of call
Inspiration for all
What’s the point of it all?
It’s never been about me
I’ll always lift the ones around me
I put it all on my back
and then break down the boundaries
Giving a voice to the voiceless
Giving a choice to the choice-less
Giving help to the helpless
I ain’t never been selfish
I pray we all win
that’s my greatest wish
I know what help is
But I also know what hell is… don’t believe me?
Look at the scars
I ain’t been leading from the from the confines of a palace
I’ve been leading from the frontline!
I am the example
I set the trends
Not by what I say
But through my actions
I’m the example of strength
The example of health
The example of peace
The example is me
I am the example
The start and the end
Not by what I say
But through my actions
The example of discipline
And consistency
The example to lead
The example is me
I am the example!
I am the example
I set the trends
Not by what I say
But through my actions
I’m the example of strength
The example of health
The example of peace
The example is me
I am the example
The start and the end
Not by what I say
But through my actions
The example of discipline
And consistency
The example to lead
The example is me
I am the example!
I set the example. Through my actions… Not my words… Not by what I SAY, but by what I DO, every single day.
